Without GPS, location may have been a challenge to find in the dark. Best to arrive during daylight hours if possible until you get to know the surrounding area.

Wonderful view from balcony in room with mountain view. Delicious kitchen for quiet evenings, from Wienerschnitzel to Kaiserschmarren. And each morning, a hearty breakfast in dining room with rustic setting views of the surrounding mountains. Nice warm sauna in basement level to warm up after walks in the cool autumn air. Food store in town just 7 minutes down the hill. Super access to the surrounding region: Wolfgangsee, Mondsee, Traunsee, Hallstatt, -- short drives away.

Breakfast is good but a bit monotonous if you stay for a longer time, food in a restaurant is average, it is better to find another restaurant around for a dinner.

Quiet location surrounded by nature, close to Wolfgangsee, perfect for children, very clean.

from the moment we arrived to the hotel, we felt like it was unreal. the hotel located at forest without any other hotels or houses. you can feel the real nature. there are many animal you can see near the hotel and the views are amazing food in the restaurant and the spa area were great

Complete package for family: Beautiful view, accessible location, mini animal zoo, delicious breakfast and dinner, big family rooms, car parking... They also helped us to give vaccum cleaner to clean our rent a car.

The location was wonderful, in the middle of the wildlife park full of deers. Nature was really close, it was an exceptional experience. Amazing hiking/walking trails nearby which we fully recommend. All the staff members were super kind and helpful, even with our dog around. We will definitely visit again!

The third bed was very hard and not flat. Dinner was good but service was a bit slow. We waited an hour to get served with a conplete dinner

A like out from Strobl up a steep hill

Breakfast was great. Rooms were large. Evening meals were tasty with plenty of choice

The rooms seem in need of renovation. The cupboard locks were broken, and the sink was also cracked. The robes we got for the sauna were also stained and broken. There was also a bee trap outside on the balcony which attracted the insects and meant we could not have the balcony open. It would also have been great to have more vegetarian options on the restaurant menu.

Friendly staff and central location with great surrounding hiking opportunities. The deer is a real plus! The food in the restaurant is excellent, if a little pricey.
