The woman at the front desk was lovely and professional. She couldn't do more to make sure we had enjoyed our stay. The unit was roomy with everything you could ask for. I thought I had left something behind and rang the hotel to enquire...again the young lady couldn't do enough to help.

The Devon Hotel and Conference Centre boasts a buffet restaurant, a heated outdoor pool and free use of mountain bikes. The property offers free on-site parking and free WiFi. Great stay and very comfortable bed. Didn’t make it easy to check out.

The 4-star Plymouth International offers contemporary studios, deluxe king studios and dual living Plymouth Suites complete with double spa bath. The place was clean and tidy. Reception and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. We had a 2-year-old with us, and it was not uncomfortable or limiting.

Featuring a bar, Fernlodge Inglewood is located in Inglewood in the Taranaki region, 20 km from Yarrow Stadium and 18 km from Brooklands Zoo. The house is older but is up kept with lots of love. My room had a sink in it which was really nice, otherwise it was a very small room with a bed but just enough for me for an overnight stay. There is a common kitchen area and lounge, and two shared bathroom areas. The car park is in the back and you have to walk all the way around to go in and out of the front door to the car park, which isn't too bad but something to consider for mobility limitations or if you have a lot to carry to your room. There is a pub and a restaurant on the bottom floor and the accomodations are on the second floor accessed by stairs inside. I enjoyed my stay here and found it very pleasant. The price was higher than I would have expected but closer to fair than others I looked at in the area.

Located in the heart of New Plymouth, walking distance to the city's finest restaurants, art, retail and business precincts. The whimsical decorating in the hotel matches the general atmosphere of New Plymouth. The location is conveniently located in the city center with plenty of dining options nearby. This also serves as a nice base for exploring the Egmont National Park and other nearby beaches. Luke was incredibly knowledgeable and was happy to assist with my questions, The hotel has free private parking nearby. Keep in mind that all rooms are located on the second floor and the hotel does not have elevators. This was well-advertised on the booking, but it deserves emphasizing.
