Very clean and the room came with everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were a good size with comfortable beds. Excellent place to stay especially when travelling with kids. Close proximity to the coast, food places and shops. Loved our stay and we will definitely stay at Dawsons when we go to New Plymouth again.

Visiting for a family reunion and this was the motel closest to the venue. We had a 2 bedroom apartment so plenty of room. Unit clean and tidy, Beds comfortable, staff very helpful, Chocolate fish in fridge a nice touch.
Great central location perfect for exploring the city. Everything you need was in walking distance and there is free parking. Rooms were clean and private, not much outside noise heard at all.

We arrived after a long and tiring drive. The weather was cold and wet. The room was a clean, comfortable, warm haven. Check in was quick and straight forward. Although the motel is on the main road, there was no road noise in the room.
It was a cheap motel which had all the basics. The staff at reception were extremely helpful and very pleasant. The location was ideal for exploring around the region and visiting friends. We were invited to inspect a couple of rooms before we paid to ensure we were happy. I was impressed with this. It was a really spacious unit with good storage.

The Location of The Amber Court motel is great, The units are a nice size with big bedrooms and all of the facilities you could possibly need, There is a swimming room and a wash house, this is a nice addition. Towels and sheets were clean. Sky Channels and free parking too!
