This family-run Lake District accommodation has an indoor swimming pool, picturesque gardens and free parking. Free WiFi is available in the downstairs public areas and the bedrooms. This hotel is beautiful and nicely positioned overlooking Windermere. The lounge, terrasse and dining room are all well appointed and elegant. The meals are good and the breakfast was particularly delicious. The staff are all friendly and helpful, taking time to assist with whatever you need to know. Our bedroom, although slightly smaller than I expected, was comfortable, clean and had a lovely view.

Linthwaite House is situated on a hilltop overlooking Windermere, making it the perfect base from which to explore the scenic surroundings. It’s a lovely place. The view was spectacular! The room is so pretty and the bedding is of very high quality. Staff is most helpful. It was raining when we arrived by a car, one of the staff member was standing in the car park with an umbrella - so considerate. Breakfast was delicious. We didn’t want to leave. Highly recommended. Whatever you see, it’s a picture - indoor and outdoor. Super experience.
