Hotel Torre Zumeltzegi is located in Old Town of Oñati, in the beautiful Basque countryside. This restored 13th-century property offers a garden and charming rooms with free Wi-Fi. Morning coffee on the terrace overlooking the valley was very special. We had both lunches at the hotel restaurant and the food was excellent. A comfortable room with great views. But one of the best things were the staff. So friendly, helpful and happy even though it was obvious they were working very hard.

This restored 13th-century tower is located in Oñati, 30 minutes’ drive from Vitoria. Very nice hotel, great design and very comfortable. Located in a beautiful area, near a lot of trails. The front desk was very helpful and had many maps and suggestions.

Situated in Oñate, 7.1 km from Sanctuary of Arantzazu, Soraluze Hotela features accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The hotel is situated in a beautiful surrounding and is proposing everything that we were asking for. The beds were really comfortable and it was quiet to sleep. They have really friendly staff.

Set 9 km from Oñati, close to the Sanctuary of Arantzazu, Hotel Sindika features heated rooms with TV. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout and private parking is available on-site. Exceptional location with an astonishing view over the mountains. Cheap, solid food. We especially appreciated the the bottle of wine which was included in the daily menu. Everything was clean and the staff was very helpful. The fact that there’s is a pool at the hotel which isn’t advertised at booking.com is the cherry on the top!

Featuring garden views, Bergartxe Geltokia is located in Legazpia, around 19 km from Sanctuary of Arantzazu. Absolutely Everything!!! This is 6 Star Treatment… Beautiful country stay looking out to amazing vistas. So spoilt here with homemade yogurts, cakes and breads of a morning. Butter jams and fresh coffee and juice. This property is a must to stay at. Can’t wait to come back one day.

Kukuma Etxea Habitaciones con derecho a cocina is situated in Galarreta. Guests wishing to travel lightly can make use of towels and linens. The country house offers a terrace. This was the most beautiful, stylish, calm place I have ever been. The perfect mix of old and modern. And the owner is super nice. A must see!

Casa Rural Arregi is set in a tranquil area 3 km outside Oñate and enjoys panoramic mountain views. The property has a garden with BBQ facilities and shared lounge with TV and fireplace. The surrounding areas are out of this world with so much to explore. The host is so friendly and accommodating - he also makes the bests omelettes we’ve ever eaten. The room felt like home and having a hot tub in the room may not be a necessity but was totally welcome after a long day hiking.
