Hotel Torre Zumeltzegi is located in Old Town of Oñati, in the beautiful Basque countryside. This restored 13th-century property offers a garden and charming rooms with free Wi-Fi. Morning coffee on the terrace overlooking the valley was very special. We had both lunches at the hotel restaurant and the food was excellent. A comfortable room with great views. But one of the best things were the staff. So friendly, helpful and happy even though it was obvious they were working very hard.

Great place to stay, very quite area with a lot of trees, golf course and the best of all is that it is in the mountains. Staff were very courteous and help me to get a safe place out of the rain for my motorcycle. Restaurant and food was great.

Set 9 km from Oñati, close to the Sanctuary of Arantzazu, Hotel Sindika features heated rooms with TV. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout and private parking is available on-site. I can not understand, that the hotel has only one star, I would at least five it two stars. Maybe three.

Located in the countryside 45 minutes' drive from Vitoria, Santuario de Arantzazu offers wonderful mountain views. All rooms offer free Wi-Fi, TV and a private bathroom. I felt like I had arrived in a fairy tale. This was near the beginning of my Ignatian Camino. I had walked far and was tired. To hear the bells welcoming me was a gift. To open the window of my room to overlook the valley was incredible. Staff were helpful, welcoming. The food was outstanding.

IRAIPE Ongi Hotel is set in Oñate. Featuring a bar, the 1-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Situated in the old part of the town but close to the square and the main road, so ideal for sightseeing and exploring the countryside. The hotel is old, but the room was large, as was the bathroom. The owner spoke no English but we understood each other and she was very attentive. Beds were comfortable and we were able to watch BBC news 24. Breakfast was Continental but very enjoyable, especially the omelettes!

Featuring garden views, Bergartxe Geltokia is located in Legazpia, around 19 km from Sanctuary of Arantzazu. Absolutely Everything!!! This is 6 Star Treatment… Beautiful country stay looking out to amazing vistas. So spoilt here with homemade yogurts, cakes and breads of a morning. Butter jams and fresh coffee and juice. This property is a must to stay at. Can’t wait to come back one day.

Kukuma Etxea Habitaciones con derecho a cocina is situated in Galarreta. Guests wishing to travel lightly can make use of towels and linens. The country house offers a terrace. The place was really cozy and extremely adorable. If you are passing by, definitely stay in this place.
