Floor-to-ceiling windows are a prominent feature of Hotel Huber Hochland’s fitness and relaxation rooms which provide panoramic views of the Bannwald Forest and surrounding Maurach countryside. ALL of the staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and kind. It was the kind of place we didn’t want to leave, so we stayed an extra day! The room with its fresh wood finish was great - a very nice room to have. We enjoyed the meals which can only be described as gourmet. They were incredibly tasty, and we had a nice choice from the items on the menu, which changed each day.

We had such a nice time at Hotel Auszeit and exploring the area around Pertisau. The hotel is chic and modern. The spa and pool area are absolutely beautiful and were incredibly relaxing after a long hike. Make sure to spend time in the spa/pool during your stay. The breakfast was also fantastic. The hotel staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay, including helping us find restaurants and hikes in the area. If you like hiking and nature, there are so many great outdoor activates walking distance away from the hotel (and the nature surrounding Pertisau is stunning). We wish we could have stayed longer!

Located at the entrance to the Karwendel Nature Reserve in Pertisau, the Sonnenhof is next to the Achensee Golf Course. All rooms and apartments have a balcony with panoramic mountain views. This was our first holiday as a family of three with our 4 month old baby boy - it couldn't have been more perfect!! Booking rather last minute and I was only able to book half-board which I have never done before however we will be coming back and we will be booking half-board again. The breakfast and dinners are out of this world! The choices available are incredible! The room was wonderful, wonderful views of the mountains from both of our balconies. Just perfect! For anyone with small children who want to get out and experience the mountains still, this is the place for you, the paths up and down the valleys and even up the mountains to a few huts/peak pushchair accessible. The staff were all excellent, incredibly friendly and the owners are also wonderful, working alongside their team. This whole experience couldn't have been more perfect for our little Family, so many firsts for our Son and so many precious memories made! Thank you and we most definitely will be back! 🥺☺️🏞️🏖️

Hotel is perfectly located at lake Achensee and room with the lake view is totally worth it - beautiful views. The indoor pool facilities are great and open until 10 pm so you have a chance to have it to yourself. Restaurant is high quality and what you would expect from 4* hotel. From the hotel you can easily reach three different hiking routes and cruise across the lake by the boat. Overall it was perfect homebase to explore the lake and the region!
Friendly hosts, good breakfast and next to the Achensee. We really felt welcome here. Next to the Achensee where you can do a lot of watersports and next to the forrest which gives you plenty of hiking routes to the Bärenkopf and other peaks. Pertisau is a lively city which is only a short walk away. Hotel is much cheaper than staying in Pertisau so if you don't mind the evening stroll, take this hotel!
Staff were the nicest people I have ever met in hotels, room was spacious enough for 2 people with a view to the stunning Achensee lake, beds were really comfortable (I am a very light sleeper so I am usually hard to please!), good breakfast. I would definitely come again if I go to Achensee lake and already recommended the place to a few of my friends!
Wiesing
Good point to explore Achensee, Inntlal and also other "tals" around. Quiet spot convenient distance from the highway and road. 3 minutes from supermarket. We slept in Barrel and an apartment. The barrel was nice if you just need to sleep, but the apartment is really comfortable with a kitchen, balcony, dinning area and even a sauna.
Maurach
Excellent Gästehaus. We had apartment Karwendel, which was very spacious and clean, also facilities were ok, room for stroller (ie. skiroom), private parking as well. Location is perfect for Achensee area. Lake, grocery shops, restaurants are within walking distance (few minutes). Huber family is very kind. Definitely will recommend.
Great place to stay. We have been to Achensee many times and it is the perfect idyllic Alpine town. The Vaya resort is located right on the hiking routes and everything is modern and comfortable. We travelled with two young kids and two dogs, and the combination of having our own little house yet linked to a hotel was perfect.
Beautiful room with a sitting area. Really clean & smart decor. The food tasted good & fresh. The family who run this hotel work hard & take pride in their business. The transport links were great with free local buses using our Achensee Card from the hotel. Can't fault them on anything.

Location between Achensee and Zillertal was very convenient. The apartment is clean and modern, just as shown in the photos. It has an efficient kitchen, balcony with a green view, and a comfortable bed. It’s a short walk into Wiesing and a 15 minute drive to Achensee. Overall, a very good value.
The location is very ideal. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help. The cheese and vegetable omlette at the breakfast was amazing. The Achensee toy train passes right by the hotel. The bar area is cozy and warm, perfect for a drink or coffee.

Wonderful place to stay in the Achensee area! you are just a 10 minute walk to the lake. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We choose a room with a small kitchen and it had everything you needed to cook! The views from the balcony were lovely too.
Nice little hotel in the Achensee area; great starting point of you want to explore the mountains around; very nice Italian restaurant at the hotel; great breakfast with all you desire; lovely and friendly staff! Will come back if in the area, for sure!

Very nice house with pretty garden, with some animals and playground for children. The host is very kind and the breakfasts were really great. It is situated in calm place but relatively close to the Achensee.
Excellent location by the Achensee lake. We hotel has a portion of the lake in its area and we can swim there. All facilities are great , food is amazing and kids activities exceeded our expectations.

Good and quiet location with a mountain view. Short drive to Achensee and many other places perfect for hiking. The apartment is brand new, very cosy, kitchen is fully equipped.
