Please don't travel with your pets. We did and there are many stray dogs that are not shy to attack your dog. It happened twice to us. There are many stray dogs running around the place and some are very big and aggressive. Don't put yourself and your pet under danger

Extraordinarily well located, right next to Uçhisar castle, this gem of a hotel has everything you need : a beautifully presented breakfast, great customer service, a fantastic view over the valley. And the hammam which you can reserve privately is just the cherry on the sundae :) I have seen very few hotels offering such prestations. As we had an early departure and could not enjoy the breakfast on our last day, they even prepared us a lunchbox to go :)
The ambiance was beautiful. The cave was preserved well while adding a modern touch that was homogeneous with the old cave. The owners were kind and helpful. It is not a commercial place but more of a local authentic place. The breakfast was delicious. Rooms and hotel is very clean. Also located near to Uchisar castle with a beautiful view.
Totally beyond expectations! The location is in Uchisar and it’s about 10 mins walk to uchisar castle. There r also several good restaurants nearby within walking distance. The room is the same as pictures and it’s nice and clean. We can watch hot air ballon clearly from the terrace of the hotel. What I want to mention is that their breakfast are AWESOME!!! Everything is home made and super delicious. I feel like I am not traveling but staying at my grandpa’s house LOL.
Fantastic Panarama views. Right under Uchisar Castle. Fantastic food. Wonderful rooms and atmosphere. The service was the best I experienced in all of Turkey. They care about you, the hotel, your stay, the property and your experience. Best place I stayed at. Breakfast was phenomenal. Best I had.
The location was great, close to Üçhisar Castle and with a view over the famous Cappadocian Valleys where the majority of the balloons fly. The hotel is clean and modern. The breakfast was great with multiple options, not just Turkish style. We had no trouble parking right at the door of the hotel during the multiple days we were there. The beds were super comfortable and spacious. They gave us free water and tea which was nice. The staff always helped us when we needed.
Overall experience was great. Highly recommended. It is a family run accommodation and the entire family was really helpful and accommodating. Went to Cappadocia with no set itinerary and the hotel made all the necessary arrangements for tours, transfers etc. The location was 10-15 walk to Uchisar castle, 5-min walk to a convenience store & ATM. The meals were also great from breakfast to dinner. They were even the best meals I tasted when I was travelling in Turkey. Lastly, they gave me a free room upgrade during my stay.
The hotel was absolutely amazing! People at the reception were super nice and super sweet. They even upgraded our regular room to a cave room for the same price since it was available the time we went and it was absolutely stunning. The location of the hotel is great, you can start with the attractions in Uchisar and continue to other villages in Cappadocia. From the terrace there is a nice view of the Uchisar Castle.
Yokhan, the owner of Caldera was personable, polite and very helpful. He helped us book our shuttle and day tour. The hotel is in a great location with views of the Uchisar Castle! the breakfast was delicious which included a great selection of local cheeses, fruits, olives, breads, and scrambled eggs.
