In Göreme, there are many cave hotels bunched together. We were pleased to be at Lunar because it was high up, with a stunning view of the balloons over Göreme and a spacious courtyard with areas to relax outside. It has a dedicated car parking area, and cats who will quickly find out whether you're a cat person or not (if you do like cats, prepare to have a friend for the week!)
The staff are friendly, helpful, and happy to be there. Ensar is an asset to the hotel, he is friendly, hard working, and he went above and beyond to make our stay great.
I am already missing this beautiful hotel & my freshly cooked omelette in the morning! I'm so glad we stayed here & hope to return one day. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Göreme, don't go anywhere else.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in!! Excellent terrace views, delicious buffet breakfast each morning, clean and comfortable rooms. What stood out the most were the staff members. They were all so friendly and the hotel manager was helpful which made our stay and holiday in Goreme stress free. We were offered çay (tea) throughout the duration of our stay which made us feel at home. We booked our tours through the hotel and they were excellent right from pick up to drop off. Would definitely book this hotel again 1000%

Beautiful and vibrant city! We stayed 3 days but I wish we had been there for at least one more day in order to take advantage of all the activities.The city is very walkable and compact but there are hills.
Lodging: There are many cave hotels scattered throughout the hills and are quaint. We stayed at the Elite Cave Suites which was clean and efficient. I looked at a few other hotels and they appeared to offer the same things; rooms built into the mountain, breakfast on a open terrace etc. Some even had pools. All offer to book your tours and had discounts which was helpful.
Eating: There are many, many restaurants to choose from that are within walking distance of the hotels. We ate at 3 of them and all served delicious food and regional specialties. We had a person with a food allergy in our group and each restaurant was helpful in providing information on ingredients in the dishes. The specialty of the region is a dish baked in a clay pot and then cracked open at the table for you to eat. Delicious and filling.
Activities: balloon rides, ATV riding, horseback riding, hiking, tours, Hamam experiences.
This is a great base for doing local tours in Cappadocia to the surrounding archeological and historical sites. We had rented a car and drove to many of the sites ourselves but a guide would have been useful for history and background.
All in all a beautiful place that was clean and welcoming. Highly recommend and would return tomorrow!

We loved the rock formations, cave dwellings, and churches; they're truly fascinating. The area is touristy, so you'll find good amenities, but it also means you'll encounter influencers focused on taking fake photos, which can be entertaining yet irritating. However, if you have a car (which I recommend), you can escape the touristy spots and explore more interesting and secluded sites.

Goreme is a perfect place to stay.
Goreme is a perfect place to stay. Very walkable and only a 20-minute walk away from one of the famous the UNESCO parks. If you head off the main strip (which is quite touristy and busy) you will find plenty of fabulous restaurants, Potato Cafe, Inci Restaurant and the Adylini Cave Hotel,
The hotel caves are fabulous, and the highlight was the hot air balloons. We chose Voyager Balloons, and they did not disappoint.
We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days and it was perfect, IF you are a hiker you will love it too.

Favourite place to eat: Göreme Han Restaurant. A true Turkish restaurant with traditional dishes. No Burger King or Chinese, when I travel I like to eat like the locals and I got this here. Ate all my meals here.
Göreme is easy to walk all over and beautiful.
There is nothing I would try to avoid on my next visit.

Very nice city to visit. Recommend having a car if you are fine with driving. Driving had no issues as long as you stay to speed limits and rules.
Many places to visit from Goreme and so much to see. Not congested and looks very laid back and remote but has everything you need.
My stay at Tekkaya Cave Hotel in Cappadocia, Turkey, was a truly memorable experience. The staff, especially Duygu and Ali, were exceptionally kind and hospitable throughout my visit. The hotel offered a delightful breakfast with a variety of Turkish delicacies, and their organized hot air balloon ride provided a breathtaking view of the unique landscape. Seven Rocks is the perfect place to spend a few days in Goreme. a great central location just off the main street. Super staff, very helpful and polite. an extra bonus in the swimming pool, especially if you are spending more than a couple of days in Cappadocia. The real advantage of this hotel is the abundant space around the pool and outside each room - a covered veranda with lovley Turkish rug cushions to relax on. Great breakfast, typical Turkish breakfast of cold mezes. I could comfortqably spend a week at this hotel.
property was good. the staff was excellent, especially Mr. Han he gave all the information required when we came to check in provided us the insight on the places to visit and all the activities in Cappadocia which made our vacation in cappadocia memorable special thanks to Han and all other staffs every one are very friendly and providing excellent customer service also the breakfast provided in the morning was also good.

This family run cave hotel is in a great location close to the center of Goreme. The entrance is very nice and people stop by to take pictures there. The staff are very helpful and go out of their way to help you. Cem, the owner, is super friendly and will help with arranging everything from airport transfer, tours, hot air balloon rides to hammam without any hassle. Breakfast is also great. My friend recommended the place to me and I will recommend it to anyone planning to visit Cappadocia. A great find!

Everything was perfect! Mr. Murat (the owner) had been in contact with us ever since we booked and Zaki from reception was extremely kind, helpful and took good care of us once we arrived! We didn’t have to worry about any of our balloon / tour bookings as it was all arranged by the hotel.

This was the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed in. There are many “cave hotels” in Goreme but this place takes the concept to its ultimate expression. Very large, well appointed room with an equally large bathroom featuring huge jacuzzi tub and marvelous walk in shower with a rainfall shower head tall enough for just about anybody. The layout is even more spectacular than the photos reflect with common areas that are an instagram dream. Staff is gracious and helpful in every respect.

Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful all the way during our long stay in Goreme+Dedicated, hard working and even entertaining to make you happy even if it rains and no balloons in the air for days 😁

The Room was amazing very comfortable and very modern yet authentic and you feel the Cave experience the hotel has lovely vibe nice music in the corridors to keep you in good mood the location one of the best in the Middle of the everything restaurants and shops , Nice Hot Air Balloon package and great hotel staff very welcoming and Helpful, the breakfast was very good but not the dinner , I loved the amazing bathroom shower This hotel is the best in Cappadocia.
It is a prime location, and you can see the balloons in the morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only one staff member spoke proper English, so apart from the language barrier they were very friendly. Although Göreme is not a big place, just 50 meters walk from the hotel, you get into the town center, with all the shops, restaurants, etc.
Considering the budget, this was quite reasonable compared to some other cave hotels in the area.
Highly recommend this hotel if you’re considering staying in Cappadocia. The hotel is not in a cave, but the location gives you a great view of the cave hotels, and there is a place on the rooftop to watch the hot air balloons. The hotel is located near a market, shops and restaurants. Bedrooms and facilities were clean and the photos reflect how the rooms are. The breakfast is amazing! The hotel night attendant was very friendly and attentive.

In love with this location and hotel! The feeling of history with nature is so pure and relaxing, living within beautiful caves. Also, the restaurant within the hotel had excellent dinner and a wonderful free breakfast feast. I would definitely stay here again.

Staffs are very friendly and helpful - Meytin helped us book our day tour, airport transfer and checking out air balloon companies (as we came during bad weather and none was actually flying). we definitely will come back here when in Göreme!
Amazing suite! I did not expect everything that I got at the Vintage Cave Hotel, and wow was I surprised. I stayed in the Zeus suite, and it was fantastic on all fronts. The size of the bathroom was just insane! Do yourself a favor and stay here while in Cappadocia. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well.
