We hired a motorbike to drive us to Noppharat Thara Beach. It turned into a full-day trip with a visit to Klong Rott, Nong Thale, with a kayak trip. We ate well that day at Ruanthip between the two places mentioned.
Kodam Kitchen (soi Klang Hang) is recommended, as are restaurants south of 4203, the main road that leads down to the beach ie. restaurants at Soi Ao Nang 17.

did not use the beach for sea bathing. There were jelly fish on the beach indicating that the water may not be safe . But the view of the sea from the beach, is super fantastic. Restaurants along the beach are really cute.

We stayed three days in a hotel on the beach. We were lucky to have two big pools and waterslides for kids
The beach is pretty dirty with a 3m high roadway to the side, rocky with lots of tree roots to get down, a few uneven access points
Beach is dirty, this year with a record number of jellyfish - probably one every two to three metres in the afternoon - so you have to be careful this year and the water is out of bounds (Krabi and Trang provinces inundated, we had a couple of days in Ko Lanta that were clear and the dive sites were clear offshore)
Lot of noise from the long tails and music pumping from bars
If the party scene and weed smoke blowing over your dinner is what you want, have a great time. For families there are better locations

It is a very good place to go for island trips.
It is a very good place to go for island trips. We went to Hong Island and we loved the boat ride, the island, the jungle walk there and the beautiful 360* view from top of the Hong Island. And Ao Nang has lovely stores for shopping. Every evening, night market is held here from 5pm onwards where you can enjoy the fire show, awesome roll ice creams, juices&drinks and street food…the locals exhibit their hand made art and souvenirs here. A must see place for everyone visiting Krabi…

I love this beach. It is scenic, with a view of mountains.
I love this beach. It is scenic, with a view of mountains. It has some trees under which you can shelter from the sun. There were plenty of restaurants, Bars, and places to hire sunbeds if you don't want to lie on the sand. Some monkeys come down from the Monkey Way, a walk that you can go on which takes you to another small, quiet beach. The monkeys appear on the beach in the morning time when it's not as hot. The tourists sometimes feed them. There are places on the beach where you can get a cheap massage. The beach is long enough that it allows you to find quiet areas no matter how busy it is. Some boats go out to all the different islands from the beach, but they go out from one particular area, so this does not affect the swimming. This is a good beach to swim from
it has the best location around 5 mins to Ao nang beach. there is plenty of restaurants around the hotel and also the public bike just across the road. the room was clean and still feel like new. Staff was all nice. There is a Coffee club at the 1st floor which is where you eat your breakfast. You can choose the breakfast menu ,free coffee and fruits from Coffee club if you choose to buy room with breakfast. Recommend and defintiely come back. Cheap price with high quality. recommend to book for the mountain view
The location was top notch the best, walking from the villa to the main street of Ao Nang beach by means the beach is just across of the hotel. Its beach front. Its super convenient. From walking distances to all yummy foods, beautiful sceneries, convenient shops, massage places, watsons, and even ATM machine. 👌🏼👌🏼 And thank you for the free upgrade and free breakfasts as well. we never felt so lucky. And the breakfast buffet is HALAL certified restaurant. hence no worries.
Exceptional place to stay, everything was really clean, the location is very good, close to local markets and traditional Thai restaurant. Perfect if you want to stay close to the things but with more calm. Sarah was really kind to us, helping with everything and always with a smile. If we are back to Krabi we are definitely going to repeat. All the staff was amazing! Definitely, the best hotel that we’ve been in Thailand.

Loved the rooms and the swimming area to relax. The rooms are spacious and clean and so is the washroom. They give ample bottles of drinking water without charging which is really great.
Their hospitality is indeed great as they helped us with the booking in the mini van to drop us to krabi airport. Plus, it's located in the much hyped area of Ao Nang Beach. There are beaches on both sides of the hotel. Highly recommend it.
The resort is as good as in the pictures, we loved our stay! Beds are big comfortable, and the stuff was very helpful. The hotel is located right on the beachfront next to lots of restaurants, a convenience store, a money exchange. Three pools with different depths, so suitable for families with little kids as well. Room service for food and drinks available. Would recommend staying here when in Krabi.

It was the best holiday and best hotel with kind staffs and great hospitality we had at phu pi maan. Hassan and yid are always ready to provide us shuttle services be it from room or from reception to beach. Also not forgetting other staffs at the restaurant and lobby who were always smiley and kind. The view was so great w price we paid.
This place is wonderful. The staff are courteous and helpful. The swimming pools are probably the best of any hotel we have ever stayed in (which are many in Thailand). The location is fantastic. Breakfast was excellent and beyond expectations. The Beach Bar provided excellent service.
The hotel was very well located for my taste. It wasn't very far from the Ao Nang beach but it was far enough to be quiet. tourist place. The view from the room was outstanding, as I was able to see distant hills which made the morning tea sitting on the patio even more delightful.

The location was right across the road from the beach. You could book your tours and get a long tail boat to Ralay beach for 100bht right across the road. The boats would leave from in front of the hotel. Easy to organise trips and in the heart of Krabi.
We loved Krabi! Location of hotel was good, in busy road near ample restaurants, 711, beach activities etc and breakfast was good. Hotel has a van going down to the beach about 3x a day but with set times we often missed. Kids enjoyed the pool.
