It is very interesting town.
It is very interesting town. It has a very beautiful old part and fantastic landscape around. The old part may be a bit difficult to move for people with reduced mobility. There is a lot of stairs and in the most causes no banisters to hold. In my opinion entry to St Sophie Orthodox Church is impossible for dissabled persons.
Also the tourist small ships are difficult to accessible because there is no traps even on biger tourists walking ships

The location of the hotel was great. it bothered us that we were on the first floor and below ours was the hotel cafe and we couldn't sleep until 01:00. I don't understand why the hotel put us above the cafe, but we survived.

The city, the food, and the lake are all beyond words and totally underrated.
The lake view, the bone museums, the Castle, and the hidden places are extremely beautiful and the locals are very friendly and nice.
It reminded me of the Amalfi coast much, Highly recommend!!
The apartment is on the 6th floor in a new building, next to the post office in the city center. If you come by car you have a private, free underground parking and an elevator that takes you to the apartment. It has a hallway, living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen and bedroom with beautiful pastel colors. The whole apartment is carefully designed and decorated to the smallest detail. There are two TV sets, one in the living room and the other in the bedroom. The apartment is impeccably clean, as if you were in a 5 star hotel.
The property is gorgeous, with three pools and a simply amazing view. The staff was incredible friendly and Irena at reception was absolutely lovely and so accommodating. This was our first trip to North Macedonia and Lake Ohrid and it could not have been any better. The beds were also wonderful!! We booked the room w a hot tub/jacuzzi and a sauna and it was soooooooo worth it! Oh, the breakfast, can’t forget that — fresh, delicious and so many options. Clearly, we loved our stay here.
This is a very new, well-thought-out housing. The yard is very comfortable when you relax with children. The internet is fast, the water is hot. The lake can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. There is also a large supermarket nearby. Our family is very happy with the holiday in Ohrid. The owner Dimitar always came to help with issues, even our personal ones. We are impressed with Macedonia and promised to return again. Thank you for everything!
We had a wonderful 5-day stay at Oaza Inn! We had 4 kids in our group and they loved the huge yard and garden and of course the big pool. The place is clean and well-maintained, the apartments are cool even in the summer with the AC off, the owners are kind and helpful, and their 3 dogs are adorable. It’s about 5mins ride to the town center and the lake so it’s not a big deal, we liked being a bit away with more space and peace.
The location of this place is unbeleivable - you are 10 meters from the city square and 30 meters from the lake, and you are in the old town! You wake up with view of the lake. It's goregous!
The hotel room was clean with nice marble floors and brand new furniture, actually the whole place seemed freshly refurbished. The toilet is also spacious and well designed.
The beds were wide and extra confy.
Zoran is a great host, he helped us with all we required and the Villa is very nice and modern. In fact Zoran's standards are higher than a 4 star hotel we were in in Skopje 3 days before! The BBQ area was well equipped and great for our large family breakfasts and BBQ nights. Ample space for parking as well and the views of the mountains and lake Ohrid are marvelleous. Highly recommended!!!
The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming and went above most other hotels in making sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our time. Breakfast was nice, efficient and included in our rate.

The accommodation is in host's house in newer part of the town - about 200m to the lake and about 1km to the old town
I recommend to get up early to take a paddle-board ride to the old town and Kaneo church

Loved our stay at Ohrid City apartments. The location is near the lake and a short walk to the city centre. The apartment was spotlessly clean and one of the best equipped places we've ever been to, with anything you might need available and wonderfully sunny and bright. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. Would deffo go back again.
The hotel was in a great location only a 2 min walk to the shore of Lake Ohrid and a 10 min walk to the city centre. The room was large, beds were clean and we had everything we needed. We used the lift for the car to park in the underground garage the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good and there was even a machine for coffee.
The location is great because it’s close to the city centre but not right in it so you don’t get all the noise.
The spa and restaurant are great. There’s live music in the restaurant which adds a lot to the experience.
The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean.
