Everything was close to everything, our hotel was like three minutes from the station. It was only 15 minutes to the mountain village where we saw cherry blossoms and a very nice zoo for 800 yen. It was a little bit cold and we were a few days late for the best cherry blossoms, but once we got settled it was a very nice 3 day visit. If you wanna eat good food for lunch you better do it before 2:00 PM because everything closes and then reopens at 5:00 PM. Nice restaurants we're closing by 8 PM. That was kind of strange.

I would love to go back and experience other seasons.
I would love to go back and experience other seasons. Our timing was a little off because the ski parks are closed, it's not snowing, but there are no flowers/sakura yet. I would like to experience more.

A place to experience snow and a different architecture from the rest of Japan.
I was curious (still I am) about details in the history of this region that makes it quite different from other cities down south of Japan. The landscapes are excellent. People are polite and so kind towards foreigners/ non-japanese speakers. The overall impression made me really want to extend my stay there, or at least come back to revisit the place very soon.
I am not into skiing but this should be a great place for that activity, too.

The wet, cold, and windy March weather made outdoor exploration less enjoyable, especially with the dirty snow on public walkways. However, I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast hunting at Nijo Market and exploring the lively Tanukikoji Shopping Street. Although I didn't spend much time at Odori Park due to the harsh conditions, I believe Sapporo is worth spending at least three nights to fully experience its culinary delights, shopping, and sights.

Sapporo is very easy get around either by walking or using the subway, buses and trams.
There are many parks and green spaces in and around Sapporo.
There is tasty local food as well as a large variety of international food.
For ski enthusiasts there are many ski resorts within a short distance of Sapporo.
The room was clean and quiet. With your stay you have access to a public onsen at the very top of the building that has a view of Odori park. There is an amenity bar (razor, hairbrush, toothbrush, two types of tea, and cotton swabs) in the lobby in case you need anything for your stay/time at the onsen. There is a drink vending machine in the lobby. One of the exits for Odori station is right across the street from the hotel. It is one of the first Airport Limousine Bus Stops and was a huge help when headed to the airport.
Comfort Hotel Sapporo Susukino is a gem! It’s conveniently located near the airport bus drop off and pick up points and right in the city center. The staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating, making sure your stay is smooth sailing. Plus, the free breakfast was delicious, the rooms were spotless and cozy, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Whether you’re here for business or pleasure, this hotel ticks all the boxes for a comfortable stay in Sapporo. Highly recommended for short stays.
Struggled a long time to choose a place in Sapporo. Seemed to be mostly older, grander hotels in slightly out of the way locations (like this one) or newer simpler local hotels with tiny rooms and limited breakfast. Glad we chose the former not the latter. Room sizes were very generous as was breakfast, the two most important things for us. Also enjoyed overlooking the river. Had a very nice dinner at the Japanese restaurant for a reasonable price, with excellent service.
Fantastic location just opposite Sapporo TV Tower, walkable distance from Sapporo JR station through the underground network. Our well-designed room had a center view of the Odori Park, yet very quiet thanks to soundproofing.
We loved the hotel wooden interior design and sustainable approach using local Hokkaido timber! Vinyl turntable in the room along with a nice choice of vinyl records at the lobby were an interesting perk.
High rise hotel, we managed to book the Cross level flr which are from 14th flr onwards. Cross level floors enjoy some additional benefits like welcome drinks, better material clothing wear, and special featured shower heads.
Location is close to underground tunnel shopping mall that link to Sapporo station and Sapporo JR station.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Great onsen facility on highest 18th flr. Popular with guests.
Just along the side of Odori Park which is virtually the central park of Sapporo where the clock tower is at your view point along the road. 3 or 4 streets from the heart of Sapporo, silent but not too far away, suitcase carriers should take the Exit 4 for the lift to come to the surface to prevent taking the heavy suitcases from the Exit 1. From the JR exit, you still need to go across 3 streets to get there.
The hotel is clean and well-equipped with washing machine and microwave. The location is also a bonus because it is near the central bus terminal, crowded shopping streets and other attractions are in walkable distance (Sapporo museum, red brick warehouse, clock tower, NHK tower, Oodori park, etc...). The metro station is only a few steps away and it is even walkable to Sapporo station.
The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the shopping district, with a Mega Don Quixote across and an underground shopping connection to the subway. The coins they gave to be used at the hotel restaurant was also a great addition since we were able to enjoy dessert and drinks with great live music after a whole day of walking.
The view from my room was awesome, I could enjoy the city skyline. Very good location, 2 min walk to Nakajima Park Station and 25 min walk to Sapporo Station and Odori Park.
The hotel could be updated a little bit but other than that the value for money is excellent.
Staff was perfect as expected in a country such as Japan.
Love the luxury zen feel of the hotel. Everything was impeccable and the rooms were so comfortable. My favourite naturally was the onsen with it's bamboo materials and lovely pools. It's within walking distance to Hokkaido University Botanical Gardens, Odori Park and the Sapporo TV Tower...Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here!
Great location on the South side and close to Sapporo Central station. Hotel is new and very fresh, essential facilities for bison travel were excellent, parking at local provider with discount for Guests, Laundry, fridge in room and microwave/ vending facilities on Lobby floor if you don’t fancy eating out.
Well priced, about a 10 minute walk from the station, and it's right across from a 7/11 to grab some quick late night snacks while the other restaurants be closing by 10 mostly. Mostly used as a temporary stay on my way toward Niseko. Also had my own shower and toilet unlike some capsule hotels
The hotel located in a tranquil area adjacent to the Toyohira river. Very quiet and have a spectacular view on the river and the city. Spacious room and very polite, enthusiastic hotel staff. Grand lobby and have a free shuttle bus to Susukino and Sapporo station every hour.
Hotel is new, room is clean and considerable spacious for Japan. Not too far from Sapporo station. There is a convenient store right across the road. Breakfast was nice (love the pudding!). Free coffee/tea service in the afternoon till night. Public bath also available.
The female dormitory was very comfortable. There was enough storage and space for your belongings. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious. Easy to get to the hotel from Sapporo Station and was a nice walk from Odori Park.
The room is cozy and clean and the park across the road is also lovely. There’s a convenient store nearby.
The service was excellent, the staff at the reception was very helpful. The laundry facilities are handy. There’s a station nearby.
Charming hotel, nice interior, excellent location on the pedestrian street in Sapporo. Loads of restaurants near by and not far from Odori park and Odorai underground station.
The location was great (right across the street from Odori Park) and easily within walking distance of shopping areas. The room was clean and certainly enough for my stay.
