The town is entirely aimed at tourists and, as a result, while there are many decent restaurants, there are very few typical Italian trattorie and, unless you have a car, food shopping opportunities are limited. On a more positive note there are regular boats to other towns around the lake and Verona is only a fifteen minute train ride away.
For those who like themeparks, Peschiera is very close to Gardaland (Italy's equivalent to Alton Towers)

Our trip was in November and just out of season so the lake Garda ferries had stopped and many attractions were closed mid-week
The restaurants and shops were open and not too crowded which was a bonus.
The lake shore was beautifully silent and tranquil a lovely place to walk and sit before a leisurely lunch

Oriana and her family were just lovely and spoke English well enough to direct us on our short walk into town and call us taxis when required. They also helped out with a 2 pin plug for our mobiles which we forgot to bring, relief!! Orina helped out with Gardaland opening times and anything else we needed during our stay. The location was perfect , near the railway station, where you can also catch buses, and 10 mins into the town centre. Loads ristorantes around, we really enjoyed ourselves and gratefully for us Scots, the room had efficient air con. Lots of room, clean and modern. Thanks for having us.

We arrived by train after staying in venice. Easy journey between towns. We decided to stay here because the train stops here. Town was lovely with lots of restaurants and gorgeous views of thd lake.

The premises were clean, many options to have fun and relaxing moments. The Kitchen was ok, bathrooms also good, WiFi excellent. I played piano, enjoyed reading books, singing songs, the coffee was superb, the staff very friendly (Matteo, Alessio, Kathleen, on top for their manners: polite and helpful.
I stayed for 3 days, I definitely will go back.

The hotel is nice. Breakfast is simple but good (great fruit) and you can have it outside. Rooms are okay, nothing fancy but enough for taking a shower and sleeping. You even have a little terrace with views to the marina. Staff was really friendly and professional and the pizzeria downstairs was great too. The best of the place is the location, between the busy town (2min walking) and the little beaches (5min walking) we really enjoyed our stay.
The room, albeit small, was comfortable for our short stay. We were grateful when the hotel accommodated a change of room when our aircon didn't work (as without it the room was unpleasantly hot at night). The staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful. We visited Bardolino on the bus (bus stop a few steps away) and travelled to Desenzano on the train (station also a few steps away) so location was very convenient.
Quiet residential location 10-15 min walk into Peschiera del Garda. 10 min walk to train station, also Free shuttle from train station to theme parks. Bus & train very reasonable and frequent if your staying within the circumference of Lake Garda, ferries good too. Very good supermarket within 10min walk from apartment, apartment well equipped, would have been nice to have an outside barbecue.
The hotel's proximity to the old town was convenient, making it easy to explore and enjoy the historic area. The pool was nice and provided a refreshing place to relax. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. The parking facilities were convenient, allowing for easy access. Moreover, the breakfast provided was good and satisfying.
The location is perfect, nice to stay in the old village, close to everything and quite a few day trips that can be done from there. Room was pleasant, big bathroom. We enjoyed our stay. If you are lucky and can get parking at the Piazza then you are really close to the accommodation. Staff friendly.
The location is wonderfully decorated. They most probably worked wirh a talented designer because the room looks like a work of art. Omar, the host, was very kind and welcoming. He also provided us with a local taxi number (there are no ridesharing apps like Uber in Peschiera del Garda).
In the old centre of Peschiera, next to a good bus line stop and to the pier for the touristic ferries on the lake. 15 minutes walk from the train station which is convenient. Breakfast good with a very good service. We enjoyed taking it on the terrace. Very good Internat quality.

We liked that it was only 10 minute walk from the train station. My kids loved the pool and bouncy house. Having a washer on summer holiday while backpacking through Italy was very important too.
