Beach and town very near to rail station.

Beach and town very near to rail station. Lovely cafes, restaurants and pubs, so lots of choice. Great that they all cater for dogs with water bowls left outside for them and are allowed in some places. Beaches are great and plenty of places to sit. You can walk around Tenby quite easily. Seemed a lot cars around. Be great if they could make it pedestrian only in some places. Love the coloured buildings and the little harbour, very quaint.

There are a lot of boarded up shops obviously the impact post Covid many businesses have Closed. The railway station from which I embarked was a disgrace no adequate disability access particularly for visual or hearing impairment , if you have to get across the tracks to access the platform for the return trip. no toilet. Generally looks a very unloved station so not a good way to be greeted when you arrive but generally there are still a good range of shops tea rooms and places to eat.

Interesting characterful town. Nice water front and harbour. RNLI boat shed and shop. Restaurants and cafes. Recommend the Life Boat Tavern. At busy times, car parks fill quickly. Recommend walking or taxis.

Nice setting, and plenty of good restaurants. Terrible for parking. Seems to be an important money maker for town to issue parking tickets at first break of daylight. Had two parking tickets in 5 days although parking in what looked like free parking. Second time was only for 5 minutes while loading the car, going home.

We tend to visit Tenby out of season as in mid-summer, with the schools off it would be very busy. Nice little town overlooking two great beaches. South beach is huge when the tide is out. Plenty of pubs/cafés etc. though in high season I suggest booking ahead for tables if you can. Spring 2024 taxi trips within the town area are £5.00.

I don’t understand all of the negative comments here. Maybe the hotel has had a part refurb since? Okay, the building is a little beaten up from the outside but I have no other complaints. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The view across north beach harbour is beautiful (with a table and chairs conveniently placed next to the bay window). The breakfast was superb with lots on offer, including a full fry up. In all, it was excellent value for money. I’ll definitely be returning for my next trip to Tenby!

The staff were absolutely amazing, very friendly, helpful and cheerful. They most certainly made up for the dissapoining aspects of the stay. Our room was fairly large and even without sea views still had great views. The lift was the main reason we booked this hotel (along with parking that was no longer an option after booking) and although not 100% disability friendly it was manageable with just a couple of steps here and there. Breakfast was lovely and the views from the dining area are amazing

Almost everything including Miranda and Omar. They are a credit to the business and no request was too much. I even ordered a breakfast that wasn't on the menu and it was arranged, very very impressed. Plenty choice of everything. Nice modern interior of hotel and outside dwellings , super clean with daily cleaning of room. Good car parking and only a 15 minute walk to to Tenby Harbour. Will definitely return

The room was clean and contained all the necessary facilities. It is conveniently located close to the station and a short walk away from the beach as well as the town centre. Loved everything about this b&b. Lovely friendly hosts. Excellent food. Stayed in room 3. Very nice big spacious room with a sofa. Got very warm in there but we had a big fan to keep us cool. 5 mins from centre and short walk down to the harbour. If we went to Tenby again would definitely stay at the beachcomber again. The room(St Catherine's view) was beautiful..so glad we decided to upgrade. This really did make our two night stay extra special. Such a convenient location for exploring Tenby. On our second morning, we were seated in the bay window for breakfast and this was such a lovely end to our stay. I would recommend the full breakfast.
