What's not to like! Peaceful location with stunning views. 2 minutes walk to the Square and Compass pub. Coast path and Purbeck Way on the doorstep. The hut itself is like a TARDIS with more space inside than there looks to be from the outside. It is well stocked . Free tea, coffee, milk, wine and muesli a nice touch.
This is a high quality holiday let. Nicky and Gary, the owners, were very accommodating, letting me park on their drive. The welcome pack was lovely and much appreciated. Beds were very comfy. A very enjoyable stay.

A bit hard to find, good job we had sat nav. the accomodation was so good, plenty of room & seating in own garden, leisure facilities free. whole area is wonderful. Receptionist helpful & polite. No bad points for us at all. plenty of walking areas, loads of cafes , bar food & restaurants in Swanage. Everywhere clean.Lots of different shops in Swanage & Poole. We had a trip on the steam train to Corfe casle & visited the model village in Corfe, young children would enjoy this fairy garden with its wild places & hidden surprises. A great area for those with dogs, they seem to be welcome everywhere including beaches, many public footpaths.

Good to have the freedom of self catering in a comfortable and clean caravan. Although we were situated near the entrance, we had to drive around the site to get to our caravan. This was challenging due to the hills, reception had drawn the route on a site map. We did not have far to walk along a narrow path to leave the site. I would try to book a caravan in a similar situation again to avoid a lot of hill walking. We were able to walk into Swanage but got a taxi from Bill's Taxis to return as it was uphill.
We enjoyed coffee and tea at Java coffee house. Restaurants were generally fully booked for an evening meal. We ate early at The Old Stables (booked) and Beavers Restaurant (did not book). Both were good meals with friendly and efficient service.
We took the bus from Swanage bus station to Durlston Country Park, had coffee and cake in the restaurant, sitting outside looking over the sea. Walked around the area, including the Great Globe and coastal path.
