The location very near .the room was big ok but l didnt has enough plugs were we could charge our mobiles .the cleaning was too poor only they change the beds and towels .the sidetabel they never cleaned it . But after all the staff were nice with us .

Perfect hotel to stay in Lourdes. No frills, but in every way exceptional. Lovely friendly people running the place, really comfortable bed, first rate breakfast. We took the full board option, lunch & dinner was a set menu with no choice; they were delicious and plentiful. Perfect location, just behind the citadel on the banks of the River Gave, 10 minutes walk from the train station, 5 minutes from the Cachot.. The bridge across into the religious city a three minute walk, 10 minutes walk to the Grotto. Quiet apart from the wonderful sound of the river flowing...

We parked in the free car park opposite the hotel. The lady in reception was very friendly and helpful. The location for us was good as it was quiet but only a short walk along the river to the Basilica and the St Bernadette church. The weather when we arrived was bright and sunny but during the evening the wind picked up so the candlelight procession was held in the massive underground church which was an experience. We found the hotel clean and comfortable.

I love my Lourdes experience especially visiting the grotto and the church. I also love that my hotel room had a view of the river and the Lourdes sanctuary. We walked around the town most of the time. We found an Asian restaurant which was a pleasant surprise. It was a very memorable Easter for me.

The whole trip experience was good.
The whole trip experience was good. I was visiting the Lourdes sanctuary and was there for 2 days. I was staying close to the sanctuary. There were loads of restaurants available around the sanctuary. The coach is the economical way to travel from airport to city centre which cost 3 Euros one way.
There are no coaches available on Sunday and Bank holidays from the Lourdes sanctuary.

We had a lovely time.
We had a lovely time. We wish there were staff who speak English at least to find out what time the daily mass. We had the greatest difficulty on Mercy Sunday to find the mass schedule what time the masses and where it is going to be? Even the Nuns cannot understand English. We were taken totally surprised there were not special celebration at Lourdes for Mercy Sunday like other churches around the world for Catholics. Cathedral was completely open for regular visitors that’s it. Suggestion at least outside the CATHEDRAL on both front entrances to have the weekly mass schedule plus where it is going to be listed in all common languages. French, English, Spanish, Tamil, German & Portugal. The tourists who are visiting the shrine will appreciate it so much. We spend more than half hour asking five people including two nuns each one was giving us a different answer. This is not a complaint. A suggestion for convenience for tourists. Finally we left. We got up early that morning by 8:45 a.m. we were at the Shrine. Finally we prayed and left. We spent our entire Saturday 4/6/2024 at the Shrine had a lovely time. Able to attend for two masses inside the Cathedral.

Shops close early as do places to eat. I was told that more eating places in the City Centre. Everyone friendly.
You don't have to pay to visit the grotto. Did see a mini train that took you round the city. If we had time we would have boarded the train. We tended to walk everyway. Peaceful, tranquil.
Our family room was on the top floor and had two levels, which was great. The kids had their own upstairs room with the bathroom. The breakfast was in the beginning a bit confusing with many different breakfast areas for different groups, but once you knew which room/area to go to, it was fine. The breakfast buffet selection was good and was constantly refilled by the staff. The hotel is located next to the main cathedral in Lourdes. But for us it was a good base to explore the Pyrenees. The hotel has a car park.
The Astoria Vatican Lourdes is well situated being in the centre of town and being close to Lourdes Grotto. The Staff were friendly, helpful and courteous at all times. The food, generally speaking was good but perhaps there could have been more variety. The Astoria Vatican's central location made it ideal for visits to Lourdes Grotto and other sites associated with Our Lady of Lourdes and Saint Bernadette. Overall, the hotel is good value for money when compared with more expensive nearby hotels in Lourdes
I cannot say enough about how welcoming and kind this Family were. We were traveling with work and they help us with security issues. Nothing was too much trouble. Do upgrade your room or ask for one with a balcony it is a tiny amount more and worth it. The location was great just on the edge of Lourdes town centre. We will visit again to ski as access is from Lourdes and definitely if we work on Your de France in Lourdes again.
We toured France for 2 weeks, staying over 7 hotels in those 2 weeks. This appartment hotel has been the very best stay in our trip. The view is spectacular, quite room, restaurants and shops in the same block, parking for our rental car right in front of the hotel, clean bathroom, kitchen, beds.
I am coming back to Lourdes (among the most beautiful places on earth in my opinion) and I WILL STAY HERE again without a doubt!
Hotel was 10 minutes from the Grotto,the view from the room of the mountains and canal was awesome,rooms were neat and tidy and toiletries and towels replenished everyday.

The apartment was very clean and modern. The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances. The bathroom is lovely and spacious. The air-conditioning works well. Overall we loved this appartment and I believe it's the cleanest accommodation we've had in France thus far.
