The restaurants and cafes are fantastic. A tour on Wallis lake is a must to do when in Forster. If you have kids take them to the Lions Club Putt Putt Golf and Trampolines, it is cheap and great fun, whilst supporting a charity.

What a stunning view from the front balcony, we even saw...
What a stunning view from the front balcony, we even saw dolphins! Four winds was the most well stocked kitchen we have ever experienced. Even suppling TimTams. Our stay was amazing and we wished we could have stayed longer.

Highly recommend staying in Forster and especially at Astina Suits. The location is absolutely beautiful. Everything you need is so close. The beaches are clean, with easy access and are absolutely beautiful. So many lovely places to eat both near the water and near shops.

What we liked most was that it was close to a cafe across the road from us where we had breakfast.I would recommend to book as it was quite busy.It was also close to the hotel where we had a couple of cold beers & also we had tea there one night.There are quite a few nice shops in the main street of forster.

Foster is beautiful, quiet with nice places to eat & great beaches. We love the bridge joining Forster & Tuncurry. Nice friendly community & we enjoyed the Sunday church service at Holy Name of Jesus. Great to see the pelicans & dolphins as we strolled around the river
I was well surprised, photos and descriptions did not do it justice. I was devastated about leaving in 2 days for another hotel once I got there.
Beautiful, modern, clean, great living room, great kitchen, great rooms and the best bathroom.
So many things provided which are not usually included in units or cabins, like lots of toilet paper!
My kids loved this place too.
We had one of many BBQ’s right in front of our place and also the pool and tennis court.
Also, so close to everything. I will definitely be visiting again.

Fully kitted home, strong wifi, kitchen and laundry appliances, right up to a multi-person kayak (which we used on several occasions).
Brilliant location, very peaceful and quiet. Forster supermarket was only 5-10min drive.
Great comms with the owners who had everything clearly laid out in terms of local tourism guide, restaurants, etc.
We definitely recommend this place for your next holiday.
We have never heard of Forster before, and we were looking for stop overs on our trip from Brisbane to Melbourne that allow pets.
Forster Motor Inn was perfect. much nicer than all cheap motels we have stayed in.
And the lady working there was lovely, who gave us great recommendations on where to eat, and where to take our frenchie for a walk.
now we are planning our next holiday to stay here.
Really good clean rooms, with modern, spacious bathroom; A well lit room (but my bedside light was not working but the good room light made up for that minor detail) & the double bed was very comfortable. Great hotel to stay at, right in the heart of Forster & only a short walk to the CBD, with the lovely river just across the road as well.
The location was great, so easy to leave the car and just wander. Very close to the river and beach as well as all facilities or shops.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, really made us feel welcome and good recommendations for where to go/eat.
Fantastic views, great location, very clean and spacious, good kitchen except there is only an invertor microwave (no oven). It is an easy walk to restaurants, shops and right across the road from the beach. It was very quiet at night.
I liked that the property was kid and pet friendly, the location and view was amazing. The backyard was beautiful and safe for the kids to play in and the dog to run around and secure. It was spacious, clean and felt very homely

Apartment in The Oceanic building, not the hotel itself. Absolute beachfront with magnificent views. Still very comfortable despite no air conditioning with ceiling fans providing cooling during hottest March days in decades!
The kitchen was well equipped, the staff really nice and the location is pretty good. A few minutes and you are in the beach, restaurants, etc.
The shower was simply amazing and a very nice reward after a long drive.

Deluxe room is pretty standard but roomier, and had everything we needed, including plenty of cabinet space, toiletries, beverage needs etc. Staff very friendly and helpful.
