Location, cleanliness of room, and attentive staff
The property was very clean and quiet. It says it is a 3 bedroom but it is only two with a pull-out bed in the living room, but that do not take anything from the property. Comfortable beds great property if we come that way again, we will definitely stay again.

I loved the place we stayed at.
I loved the place we stayed at. Schlitterbahn was just across the street, we didn't have to walk that much. My girls loved there room and so did I. The stay was worth it. To bad we didn't stay for much longer. Planning on staying at the same place next year. Thanks and God Bless ❤️🙏❤️

Since it was spring break, thought it would be crowded but it wasn’t. Very picturesque and historic town. Went to Natural Bridge caverns and wildlife ranch. A little too cool for swimming, tubing, etc.

Floating down the Guadalupe or Comal River is a Texas Tradition. My favorite way to spend a Holiday Weekend. It is NOT for little kids, strong swimmers only. My daughter is 8 and I still don't allow her to Float Down the river only swim in controlled spots. I was 8 the first time I went but I was a strong swimmer. I had the time of my life and I try to go back at least once a year. New Braunfels and Gruene especially are also nice places to visit!

I may have just hit traffic several times a day, but getting out of the hotel parking lot to the highway required a bold dash between on coming vehicles or hoping someone would let me into,the stream of traffic.
If you are looking for a laid back, family and dog oriented retreat then look no further when in New Braunfels. The grounds speak welcome and the fun to be had right on sight is unlimited. All the pools and spas were perfect. The playground for the kiddos is outstanding. This is one of those places that the entire family can come and enjoy each other without the agony of pitching a tent. We stayed in a little cabin for 2. Perfect for our needs. Next time I will bring more grandkids. The best thing of all!!!!! NO PET fees!
The Faust is a very nice historic hotel located in downtown New Braunfels. It is situated between 2 German restaurants, which was great for us. The rooms are nice and clean and the staff are very helpful. Free parking. They have an outdoor patio with entertainment and a small bar 4 nights a week. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
Great location for both New Braunfels and easy to get to the highway and Interstate for travelling. Large rooms and having a separate kitchen and sitting room was excellent as I was staying for a full week and working. Very quiet off season (especially midweek) but safe and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
My stay at Howard Johnson by Wyndham New Braunfels was simply amazing. The pool, free wifi and complimentary breakfast made my stay so convenient and enjoyable. The staff was helpful, friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others looking for a great place to stay in New Braunfels.
We loved the pool and sitting outside on the back porch overlooking the golf course. Our favorite part of the property was Bandit Beach Park because it was super easy to launch our kayaks from there and ease on down the river. Both to the right and left on the river were gorgeous. We loved our little getaway!!
Location was central New Braunfels which was conveniently located but that's about it. Everything was misrepresented from the online profile. They had permanent residency at the rear that was connected with a trailer park. People where slamming doors until 4AM both nights so I got very little sleep.
Decent area. Close to all the main attractions New Braunfels has to offer. The front desk clerk was very nice and she had one of the best attitudes I’ve ever seen from any front desk clerk.
The hotel is in an excellent location with fantastic views. It had a charming rustic style throughout. The staff were helpful and very pleasant.
