The property was very clean and quiet. It says it is a 3 bedroom but it is only two with a pull-out bed in the living room, but that do not take anything from the property. Comfortable beds great property if we come that way again, we will definitely stay again.

I loved the place we stayed at. Schlitterbahn was just across the street, we didn't have to walk that much. My girls loved there room and so did I. The stay was worth it. To bad we didn't stay for much longer. Planning on staying at the same place next year. Thanks and God Bless ❤️🙏❤️

Since it was spring break, thought it would be crowded but it wasn’t. Very picturesque and historic town. Went to Natural Bridge caverns and wildlife ranch. A little too cool for swimming, tubing, etc.

Floating down the Guadalupe or Comal River is a Texas Tradition. My favorite way to spend a Holiday Weekend. It is NOT for little kids, strong swimmers only. My daughter is 8 and I still don't allow her to Float Down the river only swim in controlled spots. I was 8 the first time I went but I was a strong swimmer. I had the time of my life and I try to go back at least once a year. New Braunfels and Gruene especially are also nice places to visit!

I may have just hit traffic several times a day, but getting out of the hotel parking lot to the highway required a bold dash between on coming vehicles or hoping someone would let me into,the stream of traffic.
The Faust is a very nice historic hotel located in downtown New Braunfels. It is situated between 2 German restaurants, which was great for us. The rooms are nice and clean and the staff are very helpful. Free parking. They have an outdoor patio with entertainment and a small bar 4 nights a week. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
Great location for both New Braunfels and easy to get to the highway and Interstate for travelling. Large rooms and having a separate kitchen and sitting room was excellent as I was staying for a full week and working. Very quiet off season (especially midweek) but safe and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
My stay at Howard Johnson by Wyndham New Braunfels was simply amazing. The pool, free wifi and complimentary breakfast made my stay so convenient and enjoyable. The staff was helpful, friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others looking for a great place to stay in New Braunfels.
We really loved our stay here. The place was beautiful and the location was everything. Literally right on the river like photos show and walking distance to food and shops. The room stayed so nice and cool in spite of the INSANE heat outside. Bed was incredibly comfy. Staff was so warm and welcoming.
Location was great, enjoyed the 24/7 snack/breakfast area, cards, games, books were all a great touch. I wasn’t sure until we got there that you are ON the river. That was a huge deal for me since I’ve been running the river since 1972 and still do every year (when there’s enough water)
We had a great stay at the Wingate by Wyndham in New Braunfels. The pool was great for the kids and it was nice to have a gym room. Also, the breakfast was great, we loved the Texas-shaped waffles. :-) The room had a good size and was well equipped with everything.
The hotel was in a great location. It was close to Gruene Hall and the town square. The room was clean and roomy. The kitchenette was a nice surprise. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit. We came down from Haslet, Texas and will be back again.
Unlike some of the posts I’ve read in other places, I found the hotel to be clean, inviting and downright classic! The staff was very friendly and consistently making sure I was comfortable. I will definitely stay there when I come back!
The location of hotel was perfect for our vacation, close to all the attractions in New Braunfels. There were so many things to do in the hotel like BBQ grill(s), Picnic area. The food was genuinely great. Our experience was excellent!!
The grounds were very nice. The pool was small but very clean. There was live music on the weekend, which we enjoyed. It was located on the river & conveniently to Schlitterbahn, Rockin R for floating & along with the Historical area.
We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful Comal Inn. Sitting on our porch and watching the world (and deers!) go by was so relaxing. We loved New Braunfels, the location was perfect and owners so friendly and helpful.
The location was good for staying in New Braunfels for a quick trip to Schlitterbahn and then heading to Fiesta Texas the next day. The sheets seemed clean.
