I left the property & cancelled my stay.I couldn’t get into the room at 1st.tried getting in 3x w the card & nothing the lady in front desk just kept rolling her eyes every time I’d go to tell her the card wasn’t working.Bery unprofessional.I finally got into the room & it stunk like vomit.It was dark & smoky hit the ac was not working & just was not what it look like in the pictures when I booked the place.I went back to the front desk to let her know I wouldn’t be staying in that room & she didn’t offer another room she just said ok . I will cancel your reservation & u need to get with booking.com about your refund.I had to drive all the way back to Austin cus we couldn’t find another room & mind u I had already paid for Schlitterbahn tickets for my family.it was a nightmare & disaster.Never again . And mind u they never responded to booking.com to refund me my money.Do not waste ur time this hotel is a huge scam . Idk how they have a 4 rating . Stay away from that place looks creepy & stinks !

The property was very clean and quiet. It says it is a 3 bedroom but it is only two with a pull-out bed in the living room, but that do not take anything from the property. Comfortable beds great property if we come that way again, we will definitely stay again.

I loved the place we stayed at. Schlitterbahn was just across the street, we didn't have to walk that much. My girls loved there room and so did I. The stay was worth it. To bad we didn't stay for much longer. Planning on staying at the same place next year. Thanks and God Bless ❤️🙏❤️

Since it was spring break, thought it would be crowded but it wasn’t. Very picturesque and historic town. Went to Natural Bridge caverns and wildlife ranch. A little too cool for swimming, tubing, etc.

Floating down the Guadalupe or Comal River is a Texas Tradition. My favorite way to spend a Holiday Weekend. It is NOT for little kids, strong swimmers only. My daughter is 8 and I still don't allow her to Float Down the river only swim in controlled spots. I was 8 the first time I went but I was a strong swimmer. I had the time of my life and I try to go back at least once a year. New Braunfels and Gruene especially are also nice places to visit!

I may have just hit traffic several times a day, but getting out of the hotel parking lot to the highway required a bold dash between on coming vehicles or hoping someone would let me into,the stream of traffic.
Our vacation in New Braunfels was incredible! The hotel we stayed at was perfectly situated - all the attractions were easy to get to. And there were plenty of things to do on-site, like grilling up some delicious food for a barbecue and chilling in the picnic area. Oh, and the food! It was absolutely delicious - you can't go wrong with that. All in all, it was a truly top notch experience!
Very spacious bright rooms , lobby and breakfast-room. The complete breakfast was without (!) the typical plastic plates you see so often in this type of hotels :). Friendly/efficient staff.

We really loved our stay here. The place was beautiful and the location was everything. Literally right on the river like photos show and walking distance to food and shops. The room stayed so nice and cool in spite of the INSANE heat outside. Bed was incredibly comfy. Staff was so warm and welcoming.
Location was great, enjoyed the 24/7 snack/breakfast area, cards, games, books were all a great touch. I wasn’t sure until we got there that you are ON the river. That was a huge deal for me since I’ve been running the river since 1972 and still do every year (when there’s enough water)
Great location, close to everything in New Braunfels and Gruene. Great view of the River and open land beyond the river. Great for bird watching and wildlife viewing. Comfortable living, dining, bedroom. Full kitchen for cooking. Lots of area info and games/ things to do provided.
Our cottage was beautifully decorated and equipped, in a quiet street, and with a lovely furnished front porch for an evening drink and breakfast, (available fresh from our fridge). Car parking and internet ideal. And only a few minutes walk into downtown New Braunfels.
The location right on the river where people float by was idyllic! We only wish we could have stayed longer! The house is really charming with everything you need and wonderful porches on both levels. We loved it and hoped to go back! Amazing Spot!
There was roaches when we walked in they moved us to the third floor which was better but still I won’t ever go back I rented 2 rooms and a 4 hrs drive plus 16 hr work day to get to the hotel like that never again
