We enjoyed Evansville's Mesker Park Zoo, the kids loved the Children's Museum of Evansville, and Walther's Fun Center had lazer tag, mini golf, bowling, and an arcade. My teen loved Eastland Mall. We liked all the restaurant choices also.

We had to wait at least 30 minutes in line to get checked in. They only had 1 person doing check in's, even though there were two desks. We were put on the second floor. The carpets from the lobby to the room were old, dirty and stunk. There were various debree on the carpet including a used q-tip. The carpet was frayed in several places.
The room. Nothing booking said about this room was accurate excpt a king size bed. The room was much smaller. There were PUBIC hairs on the bathroom floor and cracker crumbs in the main room. (see photos). There wasn't a menu for the restaurant. There wasn't a phone book. There wasn't even a clock! We didn't know if the shower was stained or dirty, so we didn't use it. I wish I had gotten more pictures!
The place was disgusting. It reminded me of a "fancy" prison. There was a kid (not a baby) hollering and screaming from somewhere until late, then people stomping, sounded like from above us, stomping, not walking.
We will never stay at this place again and would not recommend it.
We spoke to two other couples who had worse experiences than ours. They both had reservations, but had to wait hours for a room to be ready. One said their room hadn't even been cleaned. The other said theirs had missing coffee, shampoos, etc.
At least the concert we were all there for was good!
You need to totally rewrite your description of these rooms! Unbelievable. I don't trust booking now.

Floors were dusted but not wet mopped cleaned.
Floors were dusted but not wet mopped cleaned. The TV was not friendly.
Breakfast was good & complementary. No charge for pets!! Close to lots of restaurants. Ate at TX Roadhouse 2x's
LaQuinta were remodeling but careful not to disturb guests. Was a beautiful upgrade...nearly complete. Parking was good. Pool & fitness good.. Staff was extremely helpful & friendly.
Would definitely stay again.
The downtown area is very much a upcoming neighborhood for millennials with no kids. The historical homes on First street are spectacular specimens that survived a Cival War era simply for being on the North of the Ohio River... beautiful...and again if you don't have kids tour the area. The hotel is new and off street parking is available The bed was very comfortable....needs better blankets though. The hotel staff are courteous.
The front desk receptionist did not state my room number out loud since I was traveling alone which was very comforting. Room was very clean, spacious and bed was comfy. Wasn't much in terms of breakfast since it was all ready to go/wrapped, but it worked just fine for me and was good. Hotel is right off of one of the main roads in Evansville but just enough away to where it's not noisy.
The size of the room was great. The lighting was different than any other room we've ever stayed in and something we are looking at incorporating into our own home. The staff was extremely nice and eager to help at all hours. The breakfast and staff in the restaurant were impeccable! I recommend this hotel and breakfast above all in Evansville!
The convenance and access to our room and casino was just perfect . Only thing is our room was located in the smoking section instead of non smoking … but that was an oversight in our booking .. however over all it was a very pleasing experience for the money .
Hotel is located close to historic home area and is walking distance to downtown, restaurants, the casino and the river. Room was good sized with very comfortable beds, fridge and microwave. Hotel has only been open a few months so everything is brand new.
The beds were very comfortable. The rooms had multiple USB ports and outlets, making it very convenient. Fairly quiet, even though it was a busy weekend. Shower had good pressure and height. Curtains/shades kept the room dark when sleeping.
Andrea at the front desk was great! She brought over a butler to the side entrance for us..great customer service! The room had three chairs. Most hotels have one! Made the stay much more comfortable!
The hotel was being remodeled. Lobby didn’t exist. Breakfast was moved. Food was gross. Beds were very worn and broken down. Had problems with the tv and ptac unit. I would never stay here again.
This hotel is horrible. I stay in a lot of hotels for work and this is far the worst one to date. The staff were rude, the food was terrible and they had trash all over the property.
Convenient location to what we were doing in town. The room itself was fine - standard issue cheap hotel room. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The rooms were clean, we had no issues with that at all. The hotel was very nice. I did not have the breakfast, but my family did and said it was good.
