Beautiful and clean hotel, family-owned. The family is wonderful! They cook you a very nice and large breakfast, and are so helpful. They want you to feel at home, and help with the anything you need, from tour bookings, to transport and more. The location is in a small village, but only a 6 minute drive to Goreme, the main city. Roughly 200 lira taxi ride. Easy to get to.

The town is very beautiful and traditional. Most people speak very little English and most restaurants do not have menus in English. I personally love this and it was so nice to stay here for a few days and experience authentic Turkish culture. There is a beautiful river and an old town that comes alive at nighttime. It’s so much less touristy than Goreme and I would recommend for people wanting to avoid the crowds. So many pottery’s around and beautiful handmade items. I would have liked to explore the area more but it was a 40° heatwave so hiking was off the list.

Perfect ambiance gives you a homely feeling away from home and our host Nazlim who owns the property was extremely helpful and always available to help with ideas of exploring the city to arranging cabs with reasonable prices you will not just fall in love with the city but with this place too, away from hectic life and daily hustle to experience the serenity Adonos Konuk is your place. Prob not as busy or touristy as the other options in Kapadocia. but still easy to get to the other towns to see all the historic sites etc. beautiful river flowing thru the middle of town, with all these lovely geese, ducks, water birds. lovely to stroll around - up little pathways, hidden coffee shops, Pottery shops and restos and quick food places - depending on your budget. I cannot wait to get back here. we stayed 3 days, need at least a week.

Avanos is perfectly located for exploring many of Cappadacia's most spectacular sites, and feels like an authentic town instead of tourist trap. We spent 4 nights there and 3 full days exploring by car, and these are some of our favorite places (all reachable within 15-20min drive): 1/Zelve Open Air Museum, 2/ Pasabag Valley, 3/ Love Valley, 4/ Ortahisar Castle, 5/Uchisar Castle...
Boutique hotels, like Haci Asik Konagi, are wonderful places and well worth the money. The new BigShefs restaurant on the river was our favorite place for dinner. Avanos also is the place where you find the Chez Galip pottery store/workshop. Cappadocia is famous for its pottery, but what we saw at Chez Galip is in a class of its own. (Another such store is Yastik’s in Goreme, where we found unique pillow cushions from authentic vintage materials).

Avanos is super close by to all the highlights of Capadoccia, the city at the edge of the mountains is guarded by Turkey's longest river and is an amazing option to stay at while exploring the landscapes and hitching a ride on one of the hot air balloons!

Avanos is just a few kilometers from most of the major trails and places of interest … but it has remained a true Turkish village, and is not overwhelmed with tourists. The local market is really worth seeing.

Amazing place. The old rustic ambience transports you to another world. Its not the regular hotel feel at all. The common balcony's and sit outs are just the right fit to spend time out of your room just soaking in the view. Plants and little trees growing all over the property gives the place a cool green look.

Very beautiful and cute hotel. There are many interior details that you want to look at. The friendly owner told us what and where to see, what time to leave in the morning to see the balloon launch. Speaks excellent English! Very tasty breakfast, fresh ingredients, especially liked the börek with spinach 😋 I want to come back here in winter, to a warm room with a fireplace. It's very quiet and romantic here! ❤️
Lovely hotel in Turkish style. Located in a quiet area of Avanos, 10 minutes drive from Goreme. very convenient by car. At 6-7 o'clock we arrived at the viewpoint and watched the flight of balloons. It's unforgettable! The room is clean, warm and tastefully furnished. Great breakfast! Very attentive hostess, helps with the choice of routes and other questions! We will back to this hotel!

It was a great experience to stay 3 nights in this hotel. Standing in balcony can saw balloons in the morning. Room was clean and comfortable. Turkey bread shop nearby where you can buy fresh bread for breakfast. Staffs were really friendly and hospitality and respectful. We will choose to stay here again if visit the town.
Amazing gem of a hotel. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very spacious and comfy. Very clean. The owner and other staff will personally oversee that everything is well taken care of. They were able to arrange horseback rides and hot-air balloon rides for us at the last minute as we had not booked those in advance.
The vibe, area and location was great. It was a nice peaceful hotel with many amenities around like souvenir stores and restaurants. a very safe location with kind and friendly people!

We chose Avanos to stay away from the mainstream touristic hotspots and we deliberately chose a boutique hotel to enjoy the liberty and uniqueness that comes with it. We stayed for five nights to tour Cappadocia. This hotel was beyond our expectations. Clean, cozy, cultured. The family is super lovely.
The hotel is beautiful with a lovely garden area in the back. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and have a great view of the balloons from Goreme.
The highlight of our stay were the girls...always laughing and smiling and wanting to please 😊
