Iasi is a busy, vibrant city with lots of restaurant options and a very large shopping mall with top end shops right in the centre of the city. Tourist attractions are nearby, but I chose to make the three hour drive to the spectacular mountains and amazing scenery. Iasi and Romania were full of surprises and nothing like my preconceptions. I felt extremely safe in the city and people were very pleasant and helpful everywhere I travelled.

The city centre is amazing, hence I recommend visiting Iasi for a few days, but not any longer or further from the city centre. I graduated from Iasi 10 years ago and expected some visible developments for the rest of the city, but with the deepest regret I suggest travellers to stick to the city centre. It's a generally safe city full of history but can, unfortunately, look forgotten.

1. Iasi has one very nice and big park (Parcul Expozitiei) close to the footbal stadium where people lie to go on weekends.
2. I liked the old city with many churches of all religions and a big pedestrian area.
3. I especially enjoyed hanging around in the new Gradina Publica Palas, right below the impressive Palatul Culturi!
Everything was great. The rooms are renovated, are modern, clean, with big and confortable bed. The breakfast was very rich in a modern breakfast area. The stuff was friendly and helpfull.
Also, Spa and pool was a reason a chose this hotrl and I can say I was not dissapointed. The pool has good water temperarure, there are 3 saunas too choose and there is a jacuzzi.
I enjoyed a lot my 2 nights in the hotel. If I visit Iasi again, definetly I will stay here.

Stayed in several apartments/hotels in iasi and this is the best so far. During the hottest summer period the living room can get quite warm, but the bedroom has AC. Loved the little touches, coffee sachets chocolate, washing detergent etc. Much appreciated!
I always come to this Hotel when I go to Iasi. I love the fact that it is so close to the center, just 3 minutes walk. But also I like that it is a quiet area. There is a parking place next to the hotel and also a restaurant with very good food and very good prices!!!! We stayed on the floor where the apartments are renovated and it looked very well. The best "bang for the buck" hotel in Iasi you can find!! It's just 10 min walk from the historical center and Palas Mall. A private secured parking place is a great benefit! The accomodation is basically a single room house with private yard and a barbecue zone. The room itself is very clean and comfortable! You also have a fully equipped kitchen! Simply Superb!
The coffee is really good. The TV has a lot of very cultural Romanian programs, the air conditioned is wonderful. There is a big cupboard and very comfy chair and table. The bed is new. The neighborhood looks very countryside, you can see how Romanian ppl really live, far from touristic views. But just some minutes by foot and you are in the real Centre.

I really liked the apartment! Very very clean and comfortable! It is quiet even if it’s exactly in the city center. The interior design is amazing and loved their hospitality! The hosts know how to make their guests happy! Besides this, you have a nice view of Iasi! I highly recommend this place and for sure will be back.
A really great hotel in an amazing building overlooking Iasi. It had a truly excellent breakfast buffet (extremely extensive and pretty fancy) and a really good spa with steam rooms and saunas which i'd highly recommend visiting if you stay here. Staff were really nice and gave me a bottle of wine as it was my birthday!

The staff was fantastic. They spoke English, which is good since I don't speak Romanian. They took extra care to place us in a quiet room because there were two weddings going on. The room, grounds, and restaurant were all wonderful. I would stay again.
