Tolaga is a quaint little beach town where everything is walking distance.
There are plenty of convenience stores if you need something, though I’d suggest getting all your shopping done in Gisborne at the supermarket. I’d also suggest fuelling up your car in Gisborne too.
We ate breakfast at Auntys cafe. I’d recommend the Big Breakfast though it is the most expensive it is also the most filling. My Aunty got the Mince on Toast and was still hungry afterwards.
If you enjoy cocktails I recommend trying the Uawa cocktail at the Pub. If you’re more of the beer type their happy hour is 6pm-8pm.
