Breakfast - good selection of tasty food. Coffee machine good and freshly baked Bread all to a very good standard with clean and comfortable surroundings.
Dinner - extensive menu. Black Angus steak cooked to our preferences and staff efficient and friendly. The addition of a sparkling candle for our 49rh wedding anniversary was a lovely surprise. Thank you!
Swimming pool and sauna areas were excellent very relaxing with views of the Forrest adding to the ambiance.

Very nice hotel close to the city centre of Roermond. The hotel used to be the local prison, which was rebuild into a hotel. They did a very nice job in respecting the old building. The rooms are build in and divided over multiple "old" cells. Clean and large rooms with a good bed, bathroom and work area. Friendly staff.
The restaurant is supposed to be very good but it was completely booked for the evening. Bar is good and a nice outside sitting area. Did not use the breakfast. Parking next to the hotel.

Breakfast is in general of good quality.
Overall, food is of good quality, both during lunch or dinner.

It is a comfortable hotel, great with pool and spa facilities, allows dogs, location for leisure purposes and long walks very good, staff friendly and pleasant. However: not enough staff; what used to be a very good restaurant was barely okay on weekdays, probably better on weekends because those days it was packed but then we didn’t eat there.
Comfy bed, hotel is easy to find, parking available close by.

The Hotel is in a beautiful location , has big rooms , friendly and helpful staff. Best thing is the adjacent play area for kids , swimming pool and Spa facilities. The SPA staff was very helpful and good .
The hotel is located in the deep wild forest. close to the National Park. The nature around is tremendous, you easily can meet wild animals on the paths. Ideal for jogging, biking and nordic walking.
