Room was clean and well appointed. The location was excellent base for walking to nearby places, especially the factory outlet. We drove, so we booked the carpark slot in advance. Entry to the carpark upon booking was seamless, and bonus for that is we could leave the car in the car park the next day after we checked out while we explored the city before we drove out in the afternoon. Breakfast which was included had great selections.

The hotel is really interesting as a design. the rooms are very clean and nice, although the heating was not working. The hotel staff was very nice and provided a heater in my room to help warm up the room.

The hotel is in an ideal location. In the heart of a wonderful city Roermond ♡
Very friendly - attentive working personal. The room pleased with its cleanliness and comfort in all directions (bed with good pillows - pillows "not a feather filler", which also very pleased me as an allergy sufferer and a very comfortable mattress). Which sometimes some five star hotels can't boast of. Bathroom. The clean care of the room was well maintained throughout the days.
From the balcony we had a wonderful view of the city center overflowing with historical artifacts...From the height of the wonderful view of St. Christopher's Cathedral, Münster Church and other architectural buildings rich in history.
The hotel also left an indelible imprint with its Art Nouveau design.
The design just never ceased to amaze - everything is thought out to the last detail.
Perfectly emphasized the presence of the theater (a combination of a massive chessboard floor with voluminous theatrical velvet curtains and chandeliers. But still seamlessly transitioning into a contemporary style . Also a wonderful restaurant with a rich menu, the presence of a track under the roof for smokers with a heating function.
And also an open terace with the possibility of passing time at lunch - dinner - or just enjoy a drink in any weather (there is outside umbrellas).
Breakfast is great, we found everything we wanted and were even pleasantly surprised by the availability , some of them are rarely found in hotels (we travel quite a lot) - the choice is very large and to suit all tastes.

Not a huge place, but I had the advantage of living there for 3 years in the 70's. Our visit was to visit Dutch friends and reaquaint ourselves with the place. I also have an RAF relative, sadly killed during the war and buried in the local Churchyard.
Quiet a busy town with a good Market, Marina and watersports. The shops good with a large Outlet Village too. Many restaurants and places to eat.

I knew Roermond very well having lived down the road for 9 years. Roermond is an excellent place to visit both from a shopping perspective, the Designer Outlet is very popular and parking (very large) is €4 for 24 hours. The old town is lovely with varied and good restaurants/cafes. Plenty of activities if you like, walking, cycling and water sports. the road network is excellent with Maastrich/Eindhoven/Dusseldorf nearby.

It’s a quaint city with just enough sites to see.
It’s a quaint city with just enough sites to see. Most people come to visit the Designer Outlet Mall, but there’s more to the city. There are beautiful churches, a nice quay with cafe’s and restaurants. You can also visit nearby German cities and walking routes.

There is a restaurant in the building of this hotel, and I understood that the accomodation facility was introduced recently. The staff, the owner, the courtesy were all excellent. We had our breakfasts with family in the elegant restaurant, and the breakfasts were prepared freshly just for us. We stayed there with family and after a satisfactory weekend, we changed our minds and extended our stay. This property definitely deserves more than I paid. The location is excellent for those who loves shopping; it is in walking distance to the largest shopping outlet of Europe. I would never forget the hospitality we faced; and for sure the chocolates!!
Perfect little Hotel, in the Downtown area of Roermond, close to train station and everything was reachable within a short walk. The breakfast buffet was plenty and well stocked and the ambiance of the restaurant is great. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay and liked our room. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable and as my friend said “she slept like in clouds”...Great value for the price and location. We definitely recommend the Hotel Roermond Next Door and would stay here again.
We liked everything about the hotel. The rooms were big, modern and clean, the bed was super comfortable, staff was really friendly and helped us with questions and our parking situation, breakfast was amazing, and the location is great too with a walking distance to the Roermond Designer Outlet which was the reason for our visit. We have nothing negative to say about this hotel and recommend it to everyone who’s planning to visit Roermond over night!
Very nice place in the city center of Roermond. Everything is nearby, plenty of shops, restaurants and bars around. Also only 200 meters from Bus and Train station. Rooms are larger then I expected. The host was very friendly and provided us with many useful tips and places in the nearby area. Would recommend it for a visit to this area.
Unique building, beautifully decorated with respect for the original purpose, without to much imagination you can put yourself in that time. However a very cosy and modern restaurant space, with a great breakfast, In the city center of Roermond. extremely friendly staff.
Great location near the bus and train station.
Nice, clean and spacious accomodation.
Very kind and welcoming host explain everything about the accomodation and the city.
Fully equiped modern kitchen and cleaning equipment.
Very comfortable sitting area and garden.
Lovely hotel and great experience to sleep in a prison. GREAT restaurant, a must try!!! Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Location is great and very conveniently located if you want to go shopping at Roermond outlet.
Breakfast was excellent, and more than enough. Other than breakfast, we are of the opinion that the location was perfect. We spent only 1 night there for visiting the outlet. And the outlet is just 3 minutes by foot.
The staff was very friendly and professional. The care was very evident. The location of the hotel is perfect very close to the Center and in the same time very close to the outlet. All are walking distances.
It was an amazing experience
Hotel looked so magical for the new year, we slept on a giant comfy bed and enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning
It so cool that they allow dogs in the restaurant ❤️
Location was amazing next the main station and to the shopping street. 16 minutes walking to the outlet. Staff was very kind and helpful, check in and check out was perfect, breakfast was very delicious.
The room was tiny, but very nice. The hotel is very close to the train station which is a huge advantage. It's not the cheapest accommodation, but I would recommend it.
