The most comfortable beds ever!!! Lovely staff, clean facilities. The restaurant Avenue is great and serves wonderful good even though it's not in the building, it's only a minute walk away, we had two dinners and a lunch there.
You feel like a part of Malta living here.
Easy to experience the day to day life and history of the area.
Very relaxing and you can travel easily by bus to any destination in Malta via Valetta.....around 25 mins by bus.
Nice small shops and cafes to find what you need or like.

In Kalkara, history and modernity are mixed. Here is real life and real locals. It is very interesting to watch There are no crowds of tourists. . About 20 minutes by bus and you are in the center of Valletta, where life boils or 20 minutes on foot and you are in Birgu another mysterious Maltese city
I recommend to those travelers who want to explore the city and the country from the inside.
We stayed here for 2 weeks, and loved it. This is a lovely apartment with everything needed for a comfortable stay. the view is unbeatable and we loved sitting out I. the evening watching the sun go down and the old city walls opposite lighting up. Christian goes out of his way to help if anything problems. It is near the bus stop so easy to get into Valletta and everywhere on the island. Also easy to walk to the 3 cities. We also enjoyed walking around peaceful Kalkara where the apartment is.

This was a fantastic place to experience the culture and sights of Malta. The apartment is spacious, ultra-clean with magnificent views and with so many facilities. It was easy to access Valletta and other places by bus, ferry or Bolt. The local folk at Kalkara were friendly and helpful. We loved staying here and this is where we would return to. Half hourly bus service to Valletta, area is nice & quiet but shops/bars/restaurants fairly limited, also hilly and not really suited to anyone with mobility issues.
Beautiful harbour in front of the hotel adds to the local scenery so ask for room overlooking.

I love the location - Kalkara is quiet and still feels very local. Away from all the chaos and easy to walk to Birgu and explore during the day, then retreat to here at night. Small grocery stores and a couple of good eating options nearby.
The location isn't that central, but Kalkara is quiet and nice to stay in (if you have a car or plan on taking a bus that takes around 35m to get to Valletta). Very friendly locals, who helped us get around and offered advice.
