I walked everywhere I needed to go during my stay and the hotel was in a great place for that because it was between the station, and some of the major attractions I wanted to see.
The staff were pretty helpful when I came in utterly drenched from being in the typhoon, which was nice.

Nice classic hotel with big rooms and nice amenities but the cleaning was bad. In the bath tub there was still a bunch of hair left which is always off putting.
Also the location is quite far out of the city center, and there is nothing at all in a walking distance. You need a car to enjoy your stay.

I spent only 2 nights in Nagasaki and wish I'd had more time. It is a big city with much to see and do. Our ferry to the coal island was cancelled do to windy weather and we were called and refunded which was nice. We spend a lot of time at the museum and found it very interesting. We went to the port, where we saw the Queen Elizabeth boarding and had lunch at a nice Chinese restaurant very close on the 5th floor - very popular! There is a street for shopping for souvenirs very close too!
Nagasaki has much more than I saw and wish I can go again!

Nagasaki is a city full of history and charm.
Nagasaki is a city full of history and charm. I love the scenic view of Nagasaki port. People here are very warm and friendly, and it's a city full of nostalgic vibe. Besides that, Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum has very modern and minimalistic architecture style. I like Champon a lot and have it almost everyday during my stay in Nagasaki.

A beautiful city which has unique history of being exposed to other countries, i.e. China, Netherlands, Portugal / Spain, England while the rest of the country was closed. It is also an important witness and victim of the A-bomb.
Don't forget to enjoy the view from Inasa yama.
Also, it offers various food options - shippoku-ryori can be eaten approximately 4000 per person if it is lunch.
We did not get to go to islands and Shimabara etc this time as well as House tembos....
It is a little hard to access by shinkansen now, but it was worth a visit.

The Night View is one of the best I've ever seen (second only to Hong Kong). We went up on the Rope Way, then discovered there was a Slope Car ascent as well--great for a return trip. The Dejima Wharf was a fantastic place to walk. The food in the restaurants around the city was wonderful. The trolley was fun, too.
the spa/ onsen is one of the best I’ve ever been to, I would go to this hotel again just for that. The breakfast is also top notch and the room is much bigger than other every other hotel I’ve stayed in Japan. there’s even an anime dvd library on the top floor. considering the location is right next to the station and you’re about a 10/15 minute walk to the lively side of town, this place is very good value for money, when staying in Nagasaki I wouldn’t even consider another hotel
This hotel was great, the staff were very friendly, they offer free coffee and green tea in the lobby, the room and bathroom were very modern and clean, the location was also great and right next to tram stops and the canal, great for walks. The price was also good! There’s a nice bar in the building too, and the gelato they sell was really nice (I’d recommend the castella flavour which is Nagasaki’s speciality cake). The decor in the lobby and ground floor was also nice.
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful (we only spoke in Japanese though), and very patient with me during my late check-in. The room was small, but clean and comfortable. The location was pretty good too, only a short walk from several bus and tram stations. It's not too far from JR Nagasaki Station, either. I had a north-facing room with a nice view of the city as well, but YMMV there. If I visit Nagasaki again as a solo traveler I'll likely stay here again.
The hotel was located in a strategic place, that allowed us to travel easily by walking or taking buses to pretty much all Nagasaki touristic places. The staff was kind and helpful, they kept our luggage before check in, and after check out too, which allowed us to explore without any worries. The design of the room was really nice. We highlight the breakfast buffet! It had many options of Japanese dishes, which were very delicious.
Been here for 2nd time. Last was 2019 before pandemic. The hotel is as clean as before. As you expect in Japan hotel. The shower is the best.
The location is super good, just in front of train station, bus stop and tram stop, minimarket are in the left and right of the hotel.
We took the breakfast, and find out it was really good with adequate choices and affordable price.
Will recommend this hotel to whoever visit Nagasaki
As long as you don't mind sharing a room, it was a hotel quality experience at a hostel price. Clean private showers and bathrooms with fresh towels and provided every day, comfy rooms and beds, friendly owner. The location was incredible, very central with lots of public transport options and within about 15 minutes of every major attraction. Amazing value and would stay again if I was ever in Nagasaki.
The hotel was in an ideal location, close to trams and buses which made site seeing in Nagasaki easy. The hotel room was a good size, clean and had all the amenities that you needed. The reception area had free coffee and the staff were super helpful and their restaurant recommendations were also great.
I would recommend this hotel when visiting Nagasaki.
We stayed at this hotel on our last visit to Nagasaki in 2023 and returned because we were very happy with everything. The hotel is outside a tram stop with a convenience store on the ground floor. The facilities were clean, and the staff were super helpful. I highly recommend this hotel and will be staying here again.
The hotel itself was really nice. They have a rooftop onsen (separate for men and women as always). There was also a sauna and the option of an inside onsen and outside. The room was spacious. After reading the reviews I asked for a higher up room with a view over Nagasaki. Near to a seven eleven and family mart.
I have stayed in several Fav Hotels across Japan (Kumamoto, Nagasaki, Hiroshima and Kagoshima) and they have all been great. The hotel is beautiful, the room was fantastic, and the staff were great. I will stay with Fav Hotels again.
This is a really beautiful Japanese style hotel. The view of the city and harbour is spectacular. The staff is lovely. There a shuttles to take you from Nagasaki Station to the hotel and back. Breakfast is abundant.
Hotel can be reached by 10-15 minutes walking or by taking tram from the Nagasaki train station. Shuttle bus service to Inasayama for the famous night view. Rich variety of breakfast dishes.
Excellent location within walking distance to many of the major attractions of Nagasaki and Urakami Station. The building was quiet and the layout was great. One of my best stays at a hotel!
First time in a POD style hotel. Clean and very affordable. Other reviews stated it was loud but our stay it was very quiet but I can see with opening of the sliding doors it can get loud.
The location is wonderful. Access to public transport is close and the hotel is already near many attractions. Restaurant options in the area are also great.
Great location, easy tram ride from Nagasaki Station, or bus drive from the airport. The neighborhood is great too. Breakfast is basic but does the job.
