Exceptional! Such cute town right by Eiheiji, shouldn't miss it. The place is a traditional house with large volume of rooms and facilities. So special from the history and craftsmanship and kind hosts and stories they tell us if we catch them. People in town are so so friendly. Shy in the beginning but only 5 minutes after, like old relatives. Highly recommended to take time and stay chez Sakai!

The breakfast was wonderful and the rooms were comfortable. I couldn't get the heater to works since it was all in Japanese but as soon as I called the front desk, they sent someone up right away.

Breakfast and food services were amazing, staff was friendly and helpful. Location is excellent for getting around the city and around the prefecture.
