The public areas and the rooms are well-renovated and clear. The room was spacious enough, with a good mattress and quality bathroom textiles. It was a great price-value accommodation in early May. There were a few bikes we could use for free, and it is a very valuable service, especially if you want to get into the city center, which is approximately 20 minutes' biking distance from the hotel.

San Benedetto is great for two or three nights if you want to relax on beach … keep in mind July august super busy…good restaurants need reservations … I believe what is a 4 star hotel is really 3 stars by standards of other hotels in Italy / Europe … but they have a fun evening scene … bike paths down a long promenade to ride is fun … if your not Italian you will feel like a tourist !!!

Apartment was modern and functional. Clean and in the centre of the town.
Terrace on the side of the bedroom too small and on a busy pedestrianised road.
Downfall, no free parking and if you arrive on a Friday morning there is a market, so even worse.
But that's not a huge problem in my book.
I would recommend it.

I went during the off season so not so many people and the chalets on the beaches were closed, which I knew and which I expected so there was no disappointment there. The beaches are beautiful. The city center is quaint and there is a lot of activity in the evenings--people walking around, restaurants, bars, etc. The pier is lovely for walking along as well and there are several pedestrian paths that are along the sea. People are friendly and the food is fantastic!

Clean area. The Lungomare was very nice and the white sand beaches. We watched kite surfers for a while and walked on the beach. There was also the possibility of renting bicycles and going on a promenade. They have bicycle pistes on the lungomare. A lot of restaurants to chose from too.

I called the desk multiple times. They said they would send some one up to check it out. No one ever came to my room. When i called the 4 th time screaming at them they said the man checkwd the wifi in the hall outside my room and it was fine. True BUT I wanted wifi IN my room as advertised. They never resolved my problem I asked sor a refund and got nothing. I definitely DI NOT RECOMMEND!

Typical Italian beach town - a very long waterfront dominated by pay-to-lay sun loungers and small independent cafe/bar/restaurants. The town centre, such as it is, doesn't really have any nightlife options but is perfectly serviceable for food shopping.

The breakfast and the location were good. We liked the design of this hotel, but that's about the only positive thing of the whole experience. The Smeraldo hotel has 2 nice pool areas but is not servicing the pools with any drinks or snacks which a standard service provided by all the hotels in the area, which is not to understand. We furthermore like to mention that, the restricted opening hours of the hotel bar, from 17.00 hours to 23,00 hrs (on a Saturday evening, on the peak of the holiday season) we did not expect either.
Everything was perfect .It looked like brand new .The stuff were amazing particularly the lady with the brown hair who was making the delicious desserts .It was the best place to stay .I wish we could have stayed longer We even had a mini kitchen in the room and a very big jacuzzi .plus separate double shower with the toilet .We had a big balcony overlooking the pool and the beach .They had a lift inside the lobby just glass all over .The stuff cleaned our room and balcony every day .
Absolutely horrible nightmare. Hotel was hard to find, and when with the help of strangers we finally found it, the door was looked and nobody was there. With limited to nothing Italian we finally found a closed bar where apparently owner kept the key. Then finding parking was another story. With the help of local police, four blocks away we parked our car. It is not a full story.
There was much to like but I particularly appreciated the care that was shown for my dog who received her own little welcome pack. Otherwise, the location was perfect, opposite the beach. Breakfast catered for all tastes. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. And we were each given delightful posters on our departure - which will definitely be framed and hung on my wall!
Breakfast inclusive at a lovely cafe just around the corner. And we really enjoyed the beach beds they were also inclusive during our stay. The contact between the owner was really quick and he even arrived at the hotel within a few minutes for an emergency. He was a very polite and warm person thank you so much for our stay. We also really recommend there own restaurant!
Spacious basic apartment on the top floor of a residential building. Easy and free public parking in front of the building on a safe street. The apartment is within walking distance of numerous supermarkets, including Lidl, in the city center, San Benedetto del Tronto, Italy. Economical price. The host is cordial. Ideal for short stays.
The room on the main floor was tiny but the balcony was huge which is nice for the view of the sea! The cappuccinos were very good and the use of the bikes was a nice treat!

The apartment is clean, nicely decorated and has a wonderful big balcony with an excellent view. The owners are very nice and you only need to cross the road to reach beautiful sand beaches. There are many restaurants in the aerea or you can rent bikes and ride to the city Center of San Benedetto del Tronto (about km4).
This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel over the last 10 years. The room was a smaller one than the last two times, but very clean as always. The breakfast is always excellent. This hotel is close to the beach and many restaurants and shops.
Franchesca was an amazing host. She was very jolly and she took care of us in this 3 day trip. She always asked us what you would like have in breakfast. Everything was so perfect. It is near to Mc donald, beach and city center. Perfect place for summer.
This was a grand Hotel in the old manner of grand hotels. Just across the street from the beach, and a great vibe of a past era beach vacations for Italians.

Nice hotel with mostly friendly staff, with large rooms and decent beds. Breakfast was very good, especially the pastries corner, but the food was slow being replenished.
everything was perfect they even let us check in early, the breakfast was good and the beach is just a mins away from the hotel. the staffs are welcoming and friendly.
