All Ferrari-themed, but not over the top. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good as well, good selection. The best though are the Reception staff that made us feel welcome and took time to have a conversation with us, recommend some local places to eat & even some aceterias to find local balsamic vinegar. Especially Ardit and Riccardo, thank you so much for your personalised service and your recommendations!

Ideal location. Manager Enzo is very friendly and supportive. He gave me for fee a computer power cable which is adaptable to local powder standard. He also downloaded Wechat APP for better communication with Chinese customers.

Family of 4, spending 1 night here in 1 bedroom apartment. Fresh and new facilities. Easy parking. Hot, powerful shower and comfortable bed. Balcony was a nice feature of the room. Excellent (included)breakfast buffet and very kind working staff. We paid to eat in the restaurant and it was impressive. Thank you for a comfortable place to stay.

Generally one reason why you visit Maranello and that is to experience the iconic world of Ferrari. Do the museum tour, do the factory tour and eat at Ristorante Cavallino, for those that understand, it becomes quite nostalgic, and at times emotional and you feel Enzo's passion.
Ristorante Cavallino - a fabulous experience and hard to imagine that so many iconic people met and had lunch there, truly special & memorable.

The theme of the hotel, so exited for the kids even adults.
The theme of the hotel, so exited for the kids even adults. Room was clean, more than enough supply of toiletries in the bathroom. Extra towels too. Staff was very nice and friendly. The only downside If you want to have dinner you have to have a car to drive around. The restaurant in the hotel was not exquisite cuisine…more like fast food. Still great place to stay.

Maranello, as the saying goes is about "fast cars, slow life".
And that is exactly what you will find.... Ferrari is of course the major attraction, and if you are a fan, it is a 100% immersive experience.
We also came to dine at Massimo Botero's restaurant, Cavallino, situated at Ferrari - and it was simply awesome, exactly what we expected.
Talking of food - the brakfast at our B&B (Villa Esther) was simply superb.
And the DolceCrema Gelataria in the centre of the town, offers the best Gelato we tasted in a month long trip to Tuscany and Florence.
The town itself is small, mostly flat, and easily walkable.
We took a bus from Modena to Maranello - it is a short ride, but there are taxis operating too.

Maranello is not just about Ferrari, although they are the high profile local interest, with the factory, museum and other aspects of interest. It is a nice little town situated in a rural agricultural area of Italy, south of Modena. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants to visit and the place has a nice atmosphere.

We had a tour of the Ferrari factory scheduled mid-week of our visit. For a Ferrari fan Maranello is like heaven. It is easy to walk to most all locations if you are staying at the Planet Hotel. We dined at Ristorante Cavallino, Montana, the Drake, Carisma and Osteria Emilana. We also visited the Ferrari Museum and did some shopping in town. If you are looking for local wines, very reasonably priced and snacks for late night in your hotel room go to Conad's, Piazza Unità D'Italia, SNC, 41053 Maranello , just South of the Planet Hotel. We found that many of the Ferrari factory workers shop there.
The location is fantastic, easy to access Maranello centre by walking, and you can park at the hotel securely as they have a gated access. The hotel is very well appointed, the rooms are very clean and effectively brand new. This has to be the nicest hotel in Maranello. The owner Fabio was extremely polite and helpful, and let us check out late as well. Nothing was too much, I will definitely stay here again and would recommend to everyone when visiting Maranello, don't bother looking elsewhere, just book here.
There was no air conditioning in our room even though it is listed on our reservation!!! In a fancy hotel during the heat of summer in Modena and no air conditioning???
The front desk fellow at check in and during our stay was most unhelpful. He told us to just open our windows, that there were "no mosquitos" so we didn't have to worry. That was a complete lie. Our room would fill with mosquitos if we opened the windows. Would not return here and will definitely not recommend it
We stayed at this hotel during our journey through Italy this summer for two nights to visit the surrounding car collections/museums. For this the hotel ist ideally situated. Everything is perfectly organised in the hotel, the breakfast simply great with all options of warm and cold food, including fruit and vegan options. The apartments are spacious and well equipped. And the best for my sons was the Ferrari decoration everythere 😉
Wonderful old countryside house, it seems to be caught in a 1950s time warp. Old original furniture and old details. Breakfast under the trees and a lovely, committed host, who is managing organic farm cultivations in the surroundings. Don't expect any luxury, it's 1950 and you should live as in those times, but I'm sure you'll love it as much as we did :)
Will be back again, definitely!
Our stay was amazing, best one so far in Italy. We brought our 2 elderly dogs and the staff was so kind. We got a lovely room on the first floor with a little terras. We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant. The food is absolutely fantastic, local cuisine, local wines, all of superb quality. The overall ambiance of the place is very warm and welcoming. Highly recommend this place!
This is the very best place where you can stay in the Maranello. Maranello is a beating heart of the Valley of Motors and in the H5-5H Luxury Room you can feel the atmosphere. It is a friendly, warm and luxury place with a decent reminder of where you are. Pietro is amazing host. Grazie Mille!
Super friendly hosts who told everything about the family, history and the region.
Big bonus! We got to meet grandpa at Sunday’s lunch and experienced Italian hospitality!
Quiet location close to Maranello, 3min drive to the Ferrari museum.
Big and clean room, excellent breakfast.
The location was great, right between the Ferrari factory and Scuderia Ferrari and walking distance to the Ferrari Museum. Our 4 bedroom suite had a nice balcony and sitting area with a nice view. The hotel also provided free parking.
Beautiful property with an amazing restaurant and the hotel is close to the Maranello/Ferrari museum.
The staff were very helpful, especially providing gluten free items for breakfast and dinner.
Italy became European champion football, that evening.
It was a wonderful event and the hotel staff was very much involved in a positive way.
Dinner and breakfast were good as well.
From a location perspective - in terms of all that is Ferrari - the hotel is perfect. Enzo the owner is fantastic - hospitable / helpful and very friendly - great host.
