Giorgio the host was communicative and patient. Everything was communicated online and there were no problems.
You get exactly what you see on the pictures and it is great to know that you are booking a reliable property. The place is comfortable, it has heating and that is a great plus if it is unusually cold during your traveling season. Also equipped with things you may need like dishes, hairdryer, fridge and other small stuff. There is plenty of space to unpack and it feels very safe.
On first glance it may seem that location is slightly remote, but once you get there, you are close to public transportation and you can get anywhere around in Bergamo. Big logistics plus.
Realistically, the place is between 8 and 9 so 8.5 , but i picked 8 since i was slightly annoyed with finding warm water on the shower

Its a super lovely place, the owner used to be a translator and decorates the apartment with ornaments from all around the world, the transportation wasn't the best the latest bus coming back from city center is around 9pm so unfortunately I didn't get to visit Bergamo but definitely doing it someday. I was there to take the earliest plane in the morning, walking was around 30 min. They prepare breakfast as well.

Wintergarden was very clean, with friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast buffet is amazing, worth every penny. They provide shuttle service to and from the airport, which is only about 1/2 mile away. The hotel interior is beautiful, clean, relaxing, and it has an indoor pool. A very nice place to stay. And most of the staff spoke at least a fair amount of English, which was helpful since my Italian isn't very good yet. I would definitely stay here again.

I cannot fault the rooms and house it is in a lovely suburb...
I cannot fault the rooms and house it is in a lovely suburb but although only 15 minutes from the airport it is 30 minutes by bus to Bergamo. The buses and trains are very good and regular but if you go into Bergamo every day it needs to be part of your budget. Approx. £5 per person per return trip. Having said all that I would stay there again.

Extremely helpful staff !!! Even though our flight was cancelled last minute and we therefore didn’t make it to the La Rocca the staff was still immensely helpful and very responsive. Comforting in a chaotic situation like ours! I’d definitely book them again anytime! Also the English was flawless which made for no misunderstandings.
I had a late flight landed in Bergamo and a very morning train to France, so this was the perfect accomodation. It is easily to find and about 20 min walking from the airport. The host can arrange a shuttle for you if you want. He is very calm, welcomes you to show the house. Breakfast is included and has: bread, jam, butter, nutella, some packed croissants, yogurt, coffee, tea and milk. The coffee was great, prepared in the moka. The bathroom is shared, but everything is very clean. So this is the best choice for tranzit.
The room was bigger than expected! It was very clean and the bed super comfortable. The walk from Orio al Serio airport was straight forward. My sister and I did this walk at 11am and 3am the next morning. The path was well lit and we felt safe. The hotel is attached to a very welcoming and accommodation restaurant that is also reasonably priced! The staff communicated with us very well despite my sister and I not knowing a lick of Italian. I recommend staying at this hotel!
It’s a perfect nice wee hotel near the airport. You can go to airport on foot, so u save a lot of money in taxis (in Italy are very very expensive). You also have a restaurant and pizzeria literally at 50 m from the place and visible from your window.
Breakfast option are limited but assorted and nice coffee machine in the room.

We got to our hotel very late at night so didnt get to use any of what it had to offer and we left the next morning

The hotel was awesome! Easy to get to by car and super convenient for the airport. Front desk staff was helpful. I loved the spa. Everything was spotlessly clean in the room and the spa. A very restful start to a trip. The food and service at the restaurant was good, too.
My flight was delayed and I had to resort to a transfer, which was very well organized. In the morning during breakfast, I spoke with the owner, who was very kind. I stayed here for one night, very convenient due to the proximity of the hotel to the airport.
There was self check-in made very easy. Room was nice and clean with comfortable beds. Relatively close to the airport (approx 2.5 km) with sidewalk and a tunnel under the busy road. Grassobbio, where the hotel is situated, is a nice little town.
Very convenient location - 15 minutes by foot from the airport. The room is clean and very warm. There were a kettle, tea, hairdryer and shampoo in the room. The hotel has a vending machine with coffee and drinks.
It was super easy to get to the hotel with the shuttle bus from Bergamo’s airport.
The staff was very friendly. The hotel was perfect, I could relax in a large bedroom and have a very comfortable bed.
Relaxing atmosphere. Shuttle to airport €5/person. The best breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel with many healthy options. Didn’t get a chance to use the spa but will definitely be back.
Very nice hotel, everything was just perfect. We arrived a little bit late and although the restaurant was fully booked, they arranged a table for us in the coffee shop. Food was great.
