Walking distance from train station which was very convenient and literally across from the port. Food vendors located right outside which was very nice with plenty to do. The hotel appeared in much better condition than other places around and highly recommend to others.
Providing free parking, Baia del Sole offers a beachfront location, on-site tennis courts, and a salt-water swimming pool set 656 feet away.

Beautiful and quiet town.
Beautiful and quiet town. Everything within walking distance. Favorite place for quick bite was Mastro Titta Pizza within two blocks of Airbnb.
I would recommend staying longer as there is much to do it Civitavecchia. We missed walking along the Harbor, visiting Fort Michaelangelo, and the beaches.
We read about direct Shuttles to the Airport, none were available the day we left because no cruise ships were arriving in Port. Car Service was expensive. We ended up taking the Train, which was not as convenient but not bad at all and at a fraction of the cost!

The hotel is an outstanding location for pre-cruise travellers as the location is just a few steps away from Largo della Pace where cruisers pick up the free shuttle to the cruise terminal. Just roll your luggages along the sidewalk then across the street onto the ramp towards area where the shuttle awaits.

Small city. Older buildings and infrastructure.
Small city. Older buildings and infrastructure. Uneven paved sidewalks, some graffiti but seemed very safe. Just an older Italian town that’s packed fairly tight. Lots of dining options, but hours are different from what Americans are used to.
Great staff with a great location for the cruiser. (just a few steps to catch a shuttle to the cruise port around the corner).
Easy walk to many sights seen locations, fresh markets, bars and authentic restaurants. Highly recommend the Pizza next door with pizza made to order right in front of your eyes.
Hotel staff provided many unforgettable personal touches, Joseph(Josepe), Michele (Michael), the lady makes cafe latte just to name a few.
We would definitely stay with them, if we are back to Civitavecchia again in the future.
The staff was extremely nice. They provided beverages as we arrived and snacks before sending us up to our room. The hotel was in a great location for walking to some local sites and restaurants. We caught a cruise and they provided transportation to the port for a small fee. The hotel also arranged transport to the hotel from airport and gave us a beverage before embarking on the cruise. They also provided a tasty breakfast with hot and cold options. The bedrooms were clean and room was small but comfortable for our stay.
Breakfast was simple - a packaged pastry, tea, coffee. This place was fantastic and so big compared to most places we stayed in Italy. Host was very welcoming and accommodating. We just stayed one night before a cruise, but it would be a great place for a longer stay when we could take advantage of the waterfront and resort vibe. The apartment is on a sqare with many restaurants and would be awesome to try them all. We were close to a cool market and shopping which we explored before embarking on our cruise.
first of all Isabella is the best :) from the first moment we book she was keen to make sure everything is arranged , she even made sure we are okay in Rome later on very nice and friendly .. we really wish to meet her personally next time
the room was small and cozy , its enough for couple it has everything and we loved the welcome basket
the location is so close to the port but it was hard to walk with our bags coz its not on the main road
we enjoyed the restaurant and the party time downstairs
The location for taking a cruise out of the port at Civitavecchia was perfect. The small apartment was clean and recently renovated to a bright and cheerful nook in a location readily accessible to the town center. The owner took great care to offer mealtime suggestions and share her knowledge of the city. Highly recommended this place for anyone who wants to visit this part of Italy and get away from the crowds in Rome.
Very Clean, great breakfast with both continental, and american style foods. In a good locations ,only a few yards from the train station, and bus depot for the port shuttle. Room was better than average for this style of hotel. View of beach was wonderful from window. They were able to store out luggage until check in so we could wander around the port. Staff was very helpful.
We had to change our hotel at the last minute thanks to BA cancelling our original flight. Lupen 3 was the only option available in Civitavecchia due to our late check in.
The room and clean and comfortable and we were just happy to have a bed. Initially we were slightly concerned on arrival as nobody was around. All credit with in 5 mins of a phone call we were let in.
The guest house was in a good location, very convenient for the beach, cafes and the port. The proprietor was very friendly and accommodating and spent a lot of effort explaining both the venue and the local area so we could get the best out of our stay. Good value for money and we will not hesitate to stay here again when we next cruise out of Civitavecchia.
We booked two rooms - one for us, one for our two young adult boys. We had 314 and 315 which were located together in a separate space and that was perfect for us.
We loved the morning breakfast, the front desk staff were beyond helpful and the location was perfect. Our stay was for one night prior to our cruise and I’m so glad I booked this hotel for us.
The hotel was exceptionally clean. The property manager happily greeted us after our long flights with breakfast. She even allowed us to check in to our room hours earlier than we were supposed to. This location was very close to the Civitavecchia Cruise Terminal. She arranged a Taxi to the port for us as well. Very happy with our stay and the hospitality!
The apartment is amazing, it has the best view of Civitavecchia. Location is perfect either for those that want to enjoy the city (walking distance for ghetto an pirgo restaurants) or for those who have to take the train or the portlink bus.
Comfort bed and bathroom, quiet room and beautiful decor.
The person who received us at check-in was very helpful.
Everything. The staff were friendly and helpful and welcoming. Breakfast every morning was very good. Nice variety. Gave us a map where they highlighted the route to get to the train station by foot. They recommended the best restaurant for dinner and provided a shuttle to and from that restaurant. We plan to stay here every time we go to Civitavecchia.
This place was like staying in a museum! It was an easy walk from the train station (even at midnight) and an easy walk to the cruise port shuttle in the morning will all of our luggage. I forgot that there is a floor 0 in Italy so I may have tried getting into the apartment one floor below first :p
The staff were really friendly, they were so helpful, the hotel is so clean and new,I was shocked it was only 2 star,I have stayed in 4 stars that weren't as nice, communication was excellent they texted me before check-in with all details of hotel which I thought was a great idea.
Very good place to stay. The room was clean and close to the center but in calm area. We loved the garden and our dog can use it without problem. The owner was also kind. Best dog friendly place where we stay ever. Rome just 1 hour from there by car and Toscana region close too.
Walking distance from train station which was very convenient and literally across from the port. Food vendors located right outside which was very nice with plenty to do. The hotel appeared in much better condition than other places around and highly recommend to others.
Stayed here before back in 2019 pre Covid. Guiseppe at front desk is a great guy, speaks very good English and is only too pleased to answer all sorts of questions. If I am cruising again from Civitavecchia again I will happily stay at this hotel again.
Secret Jem in Port of Rome. The entrance is off a fenced off courtyard where you need to press the buzzer to get access to the Hotel/ B&B. The cruise shuttle bus pick up is 150m at the end of the street. Thank you La Formica.
The manager of the hotel, Luca, is a friendly, professional who has a great personality and sense of humor. He will assist you in whatever it is that you need. A great asset to the hotel!
It's a nice hotel in a great location in civitavecchia. The staff is excellent. I wouldn't pay for the breakfast, though. The rooms are fairly clean and very simple.
