We stayed here one night on our way from Belgium to Umbria. As the hotel is located at no less than 500m from the highway, this is very functional. Surprisingly, we heard absolutely no noise from the highway in our room. The room was spacy and clean. Close to the hotel are several good restaurants and a trattoria. We went to ristorante Marisa (150m from the hotel): excellent !
We walked to Cavalina. Don't do that. There is absolutely nothing there.
Allthough allmost evertything at the breakfast was packed in plastic, breakfast was ok.
We had an excellent stay at the Valle De Medici. The place is ideally located to explore central Italy. It is in the hills towards the Appennino and remains quite fresh even when the weather is very hot. The swimming pool is a big bonus. From there you can explore Florence, Pisa, Bologna and many other places. Also, there is a variety of nice and not so expensive local restaurants around the place.

Podere il Sasso is a B&B but it give any hotel a run for it's money, amazing location just above Bilancino lake, with view, was a really hod day but it was a nice stay because there was a gentile breze (very commen there), spacious room, clean and amazing sleep qualitiy.

We arrived at the hotel after hiking for a few hours in the rain and what a blessing! The hotel was very warm and cosy, the bed very comfy with thick blankets!! The room was very clean and the host extremely friendly. We also had an excellent dinner! I really enjoyed my stay! We couldnt try the pool due to the bad weather, so we will have to come back! :)

when you get all of that and more you simply don't care if the water hose in the shower is not perfect !

Great location, parking, large room with huge balcony. A friendly welcome and very helpful advice on where to eat. The hotel was charming with larger rooms than is usual in Italy. Breakfast was fresh and varied. Would highly recommend and stay again when next in the area. Thank you
Gorgeous rooms, with a great view. The breakfast was perfect and so nicely presented. We enjoyed 2 dinners at the hotel and everything was exquisite. The choice of wines were very good. Staff very attentive, polite and professional. They loved our dog. All in all, we felt very welcome.
We are traveling a lot and never seen such a great hotel before. Everything was ideal, location with view on lake, friendly and helpful english speaking staff and very good breakfast. I would definitely recommend everyone to stay in Villa del lago.
An enchanting small hotel with very cozy, albeit petite rooms. With only 4 rooms in total, it offers a tranquil and welcoming atmosphere, and the friendly staff make it a place you'd want to return to for a peaceful getaway.
The road to the hotel was ok not as bad as how the other reviewers claimed . So don’t worry unless you have a very low sports expensive car ! Location is great between the cities and if you wanna relax and enjoy .
I enjoyed the breakfast and the general appearance of the hotel the towels and decor and the plants in the foyer. The staff were very helpful even though I did not speak Italian.
