Catania is only 15-20 minutes drive by car, depending on the traffic. Acitrezza was peacefull and we found the locals very kind, friendly and open hearted people. We dined well at Tratoria da Federico where we had delicious oysters fresh from local waters.
Unfortunatelly there is no posibility to walk alongside the sea more than a few hundred meters.

The location is great for traveling north and south of the town. The view from the terrace is lovely! We arrived at night and it was a special surprise in the morning.
The kitchen is very tiny and we were unable to reheat leftovers due to the lack of a microwave and our inability to use the oven. We were very thankful for the washing machine and clothes dried quickly on the rack on the terrace.

Acitrezza is a very beautiful village and is special due to the famous rocks called Faraglioni. Is a perfect location for visiting the eastern part of Sicily, There are nice restaurants, with good fish, pasta and pizza and of course very good ice-cream. You can have a nice walk on the promenade near the see and walk to Acicastello to see the Norman Castle. There are lots of places to take a bath from the rocks but also some platforms built over the see, with sunbeds and stairs to get into the water. From the harbor you can have boat trips.

This was our 6th visit but the first not in summer. We were surprised by how quiet it was but the weather was glorious, the people very welcoming and it was a lovely relaxing break for us. Not a place for those who need a lot of attractions, unless you have a car and want to drive to different places every day.

Good starting point for exploring Etna and Taormina. Otherwise other parts of Sicily are better, at least for families.
Lots of garbage in the roadside which sometimes spoils a good scenery, but probably the same all over Sicily.
The host was very helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate my late check-in and make sure I had everything I needed. The room is beautiful and very comfortable. The room is large and spacious and has a nice patio attached. There is also a kitchen with an oven, stove, and refrigerator. There is also a kitchen with an oven, stove, and refrigerator. The spa tub is HUGE and works well, it's so relaxing! Everything was perfect. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Catania.
We had a wonderful stay at Epos Acitrezza! Centrally located and close to the sea. Very clean and comfortable. The room was very spacious and was cleaned daily! Santo was very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed a daily breakfast with a great selection of pastries and cakes. Excellent cappuccino was served during breakfast. We loved the homemade limoncello too :) We really enjoyed staying at this place and we highly recommend this B&B!

I've spent 5 nights at Hello B&B, and I had a marvellous time. The whole place is extremely clean, and right in the center of Acitrezza. The surrounding area is full of restaurants and people, and the overall vibe is chilled and happy. Giovanni, the host, is a great guide and is always very keen for a chat or in helping with everything you might need. Will definitely come back here if I ever happen to be in Acitrezza again
The location was perfect, walking distance to the attractions and the restaurants/bars and a beautiful view over the sea both from the room and from the nice terrace, which was equipped with table, chairs and sofa. Good air conditioning, complimentary bottle of water in the fridge and coffee/tea in the common area. Giorgio was very kind and helpful. I would stay there again if I have the chance to visit Acitrezza again.
Rooms were well taken care of and very clean.
The sea view is really there and actually very close to the sea (you can see the Ciclopi). There is a big terrace shared with all the rooms and available to have breakfast.
The host is a very nice guy and makes good cappuccinos.
Recommended stay if you want to visit Catania, Etna or even if you go there for the sea and beaches.

The apartment was immaculate with fresh clean bedding and towels.Sympathetically decorated with some lovely touches. Our host, Rosario was so friendly and super helpful. The location was perfect, very central to all amenities. A short walk to the bus stop for trips into Catania. We definitely hope to be back soon and would 100% choose to to stay here.
Cesare is an exceptional host. Serves breakfast, checks on comfort, keeps room clean, and is readily available for help. He arranged ride back to airport as well. The room was large, had an updated bath, and cleanest place ever. Better room than major hotels. It is near center of small town, easy walking, and great experiences.
The apartment is very spacious with everything you need inside. It is at a good distance from Taormina, Etna sud, Siracuzza, Catania. You can reach the seaside in 7 minutes ( riviera dei ciclopi area). The view from the balcony is amazing ( seaside view and Etna mountain).
The location is good, near the sea and a lot of restaurants. There is a bus stop next to the hotel and you can go to Catania city center. The accommodation is comfortable, simple and clean. The breakfast is good. There is a parking which you can use paying.
Breakfast was great and room was very clean and quiet. Outside the room there were spectacular views which unfortunately were not visible from inside the room. Another plus that this hotel offers is that it has ample parking spaces for its guests.

Very nice, clean and convenient appartement close to the center. The owner is really friendly and helpful, also knowledgeable about the sites nearby. The location is also great to explore Catania, Mount Etna, Taormina etc.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had a great balcony overlooking the pool, which other than having to wear a headcap was fantastic. Access to the sea and the town of Acitrezza was close and easy.
Hotel is nice located, but the rooms are not comfortable, we had to ask for shower soap , no shampoo or conditioner, breakfast was very poor , service at the breakfast was extremely low. no beach towels,
