Room size is good and spacious. Bathroom size is good. Staff is very cooperative specially Mr Sirajuddin who allowed us to stay an hour extra time to check out and as per our requirements he arranged nice taxi and driver who took us to all important point and drop at Madupam Railway station.Overall experience is very good.

Mandapam seems like a nice area away from the crowd of Rameshwaram. The main reason you would stay here is of course if you wanted to visit Rameshwaram and Dhanushkodi. It's about 30 minutes from Rameshwaram and 1 hour from Dhanushkodi.
If you're not planning on visiting either of these places, then I don't believe staying here makes much sense. It does have a couple of nice beaches, but apart from that there isn't really anything to do in the area.
