Can't put my finger on it but it has a weird vibe- I think it's that there are a lot of restaurants along the beach, but they are quite deserted, so there is not much of a buzz and feels a bit eerie.
The main Gorkarna beach was quite dirty. Kudle beach was cleaner, but there was still a pile of rubbish to the side. Lots of cows on the beach so lots of cow poop.
There are some beautiful parts to it, but not worth it for me. I'd go to Goa instead.

Gokarna is the ideal place for leisure holidays. It offers a lot like temples, road trips, monuments but highlight for me was beachside treks. It's amazing experience, one must try.
Availability of bikes makes it very easy to travels and roads are with amazing view, you will cherish every minute you travel.

It is clean and comfortable. There is no bar or communal seating area outside. On a very busy crossroads so noisy most of the time. Food from room service was largely good. It was nice to have a balcony. I’m beach is 6km away.

Very good serene place with a nice history, beaches were clean and trekkable. The crowd was so less that you could enjoy each and everything nicely must go place in my opinion just that take your own vehicle.

If you want Goa like environment without crowd with added bonus of pilgrimage to Shri Mahabaleshwor (Jyotirlinga) then this is the place. The locals are friendly and have time to speak to you. Someday we have one part of the beach totally for us.
Loved the place. Had our last college trip in gokarna and revibe was the place to be. Revibe was a big reason why our trip was sooo memorable.
Location is difficult to find but people in revibe help you find it and it's worth it for the beach view. Rooms are super clean and so are the restrooms (even the common ones). The food is really good. Social place is the best place and the games that we played with people in revibe were the best memories.

Sandeep, the proprieter of Cocopelli, is truly an exceptional host - friendly, accommodates requests, and makes you feel at home. The location is idyllic - within a minute from the beach and yet within a 15 min walk from town. I had a most enjoyable stay at Cocopelli and will surely stay here again when I'm in Gokarna. If you're the type to forgo luxury comforts in lieu of a relaxing place where you feel secure and at ease, then Cocopelli is the place to be.

The service provided by the stay owner is too good and helped us to explore places in Gokarna. Safety is 100% secure for girls and the owner is too friendly with everybody. The resort is also nearby the beach, we can reach it within 4min.
Rooms are good and clean with the midst of village people. Overall it's a safe and secure stay with a humble owner for both family and friends.
The overall vibe in the hostel was good. I met some cool people and enjoyed hanging out there. Best part was you walk up to see the beach. It was cheap when compared to the places nearby. The hammocks where good too. We also had a bonfire one night. There are people from all over, which was intresting to see. Staff are friendly and good.
The room was very good. The washroom was great too. A very good night sleep. Food quality was decent whenever I ordered. Good view of the main gokarna beach through the balcony. The hosts including their family members were also helpful. Staff were well behaved. Overall a good exp.

The staff were courteous and attentive. The place is well kept with a pool and a gazebo. It has private access to kudle beach. A good place to start the Gokarna trek.
Nice place with lot of greenery 💚. Kudle beach is very near. We can see sea but not from our room directly. Once you go to top of balcony sea view is visible.
