The location, the views in the country side were beautiful. The staff particularly Sameh was very helpful, he was very cheerful, warm and happy to help with what we needed.

The location is perfect for short stays if travelling to and from Shannon Airport. That’s really the main unique selling point. Other than that, there was nothing special or extraordinary about staying here.

Pauline was a lovely, welcoming Irish host who made us feel welcome as soon as we walked through the door, making us a cup of tea and providing recommendations for dinner in Ennis.

Lovely couple running this very busy B&B lot going on in there.
Breakfast was spectacular, what a choice.

Nice part of the country and within easy range of Ennis, Tipperary and other locations as well. Nice pubs such as Durty Nelly's within easy travelling distance and castles and old abbeys or churches for those interested in history. Shannon Airport about 15 minutes drive.

It.was abysmal.
It.was abysmal. I made my first enquiry on 8th August initially at the end of August, changed my dates to Sept 22nd. I ordered afteroon tea, they could/would not meet my dietary my room which meant I had to order from another hotel 30mins awayrob which meant I had to eat my afternnon tea in. in the room. I was assured by email that the breakfast and evening meal would not be a problem. I sent an email to state what I wanted for breakfast (gluten free porridge made with water) and poached egg on gluten free toast) First day waitress/restaurant manager arrived at my table with the printed out page.clearly stating what i wanted. with poached egg. I requested please could I have my cereal first? Waitress/restaurant manager arrived with 2 boxes of gluten cereal, not the porridge. I refused the alternative cereal, she then informed me that they didnt have the GF porridge. I have sulphite allergy and the porridge contains a nutrient which helps to eliminate the sulphites (which causes inflammation, swelling swollen joints to name but a few). So GF porridge is not a choice it is a neccessity. If I can get it in a bnb run by 2 70yr old in Wicklow recently.Inn at Dromoland should be able to

New market on fergus was a lovely little spot, great...
New market on fergus was a lovely little spot, great eurospar shop which stocked everything you may need. We also found a lovely playground for kids, which they loved. Weavers Inn did a great dinner, especially the fish goujons, which are well worth a try. Kids meal of 7 euro included a scoop of lovely ice cream. Staff were very helpful there.

Beautiful property on many acres of farmland. The horses on the field are so friendly and would come up to the gate and let you pet them. Or they just stand there and stare at you and let you take selfies with them. The host was the sweetest lady that cooks up a mean breakfast and gave great recs for stuff to do around the area. So many great things about this place. If I ever come back to western Ireland, I would definitely stay here again. I can’t recommend this place high enough.
Noreen, our hostess, met us at the door with an invitation to sit on the back covered patio adjacent to the rose and vegetable gardens, and the beautiful green pasture with horses, a friendly donkey, and cows. She was very helpful with calling a taxi, recommending a place with Irish music for dinner, and cooking a wonderful breakfast with their farm eggs and home baked soda and brown breads. It was our last stay in Ireland and sent us home with a "taste" of country manor!
Location, hotel, facilities and room and attention to detail we cannot fault but the meal we had was one of the worst we have had in any hotel. Lunch and breakfast were very nice but both our evening meals were appalling, seemed presentation was first and foremost and the food itself not a care given.
The room itself was reasonably large, and the bathroom had been well modernised and had an excellent shower. The location was excellent as we were at a wedding in the Castle and the shuttle between the 2 hotels made this very easy, so if attending a wedding at Dromoland this is an excellent option.
The property is absolutely gorgeous and the host couldn't have been nicer. Breakfast was also exceptional. I was in charge of picking the BNB for this part of our stay in Ireland and everyone agreed this was by far the best of the entire trip.
The best was how family friendly hotel it was. From arrival the kiddies soft play and park outside the swimming pool my kids loved it.
Had dinner in the restaurant and the band were so good!
Breakfast was tasty!
Loved the hotel overall, amazing service and staff. It felt like your every needed was anticipated and we travelled without son 6 years and it felt very family friendly.Stunning property and facilities.
The room was a good size with a lovely view. Free parking. Good bar food. This hotel will really suit people with young children as there are plenty of options to entertain them.
Great hotel for a night away with the family, very accommodating. Enjoyed the food at the bar and found all the staff very friendly. Would and will stay here again
