Very good stay for a local wedding. Room was immaculate. Nice touches like bottled water. As stated on the description pub is closed on Mondays when we checked in. Had a bit of a panic as didn't know how to get out and back in again after check-in. Figured it out tho! Could have been explained on arrival tho.

I loved the comfortable bed.
I asked before my stay if I could have a room with a bath due to my autistic son being frightened of the shower. The staff member I spoke to was very accommodating.
I was alone with my son who was quite a handful at breakfast on my checkout day. The lady hosting breakfast was absolutely wonderful and got him to sit and wait for me to finish my breakfast as he was pacing beforehand. It's small things like that that really do make a difference and make me feel valued rather than embarrassed. So, thank you to YOU for that.

Quaint old building with some modern extensions. Friendly owner (Julie). Comfy bed, firm mattress. Parking right outside. Easy and quite nice walk 5 - 10 mins into Totnes. Nice garden to sit in if warm and sunny. Breakfast food was good. Quiet establishment and area.
Everything was perfect in every way! Again can't rate the beautiful, stylish room, amazing food and wonderful ambiance highly enough! Definite hidden gem I would really love to keep my secret but others must enjoy this amazing stay!!!

Live and Let Live rooms were nice but the second bed was not set up on our arrival (with 2 sleeping children, 10pm at night), and there was no bedding ready. The member of staff who greeted us said that he did not know how to make the bed and if there was no bedding ready there wasn't anything that he could do. We found some bedding in one of the cupboards and had to make the bed ourselves.
The breakfast available was incredibly basic, served by a lovely man but who was not familiar with the process at all.
Overall very disappointing service for the amount paid
