The view from our room that looked over beautiful green fields. Surprisingly there was very little road noise, considering its proximity to a dual carriageway.

The bed was the comfiest I've ever slept in. The shower was nice and powerful. The staff were lovely and friendly, yet respectfully professional. We were especially impressed with the bar man and the night porter. We loved the Garden Restaurant but only found it by accident. The food was exceptional and ideal for a special occassion. The Night Porter was kind enough to make us a special cheese board to have in our room after the restaurant had shut. Breakfast was huge portions but still really well presented.

Thank you very much for making our 2-night stay in Burghley Mouse so special. The directions were easy to follow making our arrival simple. The walk through the meadow and orchard enticing, as we glimpsed our shepherd’s hut and then we were overwhelmed by the high standard of the accommodation and the attention to detail in it. We enjoyed a peaceful, idyllic and fun weekend taking advantage of all that is on offer, including the prosecco key hunt, toasting marshmallows in the arbour one evening, riding on the tandem and eating delicious fresh eggs, collected by hand, for breakfast, to name a few of the treats you very thoughtfully provided to make our stay so special. You have created a little oasis of luxurious calm and serenity.

Small but perfectly formed. Like home from home with everything taken care of. Condiments, cleaning, more than adequate kitchen utensils. Very comfy beds and sofa and decorated so gorgeously.
