A unique B and B, where you’re greeted by an assortment of barnyard animals, including Reggie, the famous sheep. The room was clean and comfortable, and the host Hugh was a delight, with lots of amusing stories. The breakfast was wonderful, as well! Recommended .
Beautiful 1930's Art Deco building directly opposite Lincoln Castle and only a few minutes' walk from the Cathedral and historic Bailgate, with its selection of independent shops and restaurants.

Very good location next to the castle, friendly reception, "continental" breakfast was more extensive than we expected. Ground floor has been redecorated in keeping with the architecture & history of the building.

I especially like the location of the hotel. It is very close to the castle and cathedral. This was my second stay at Castle Hotel, and plan to stay there in the future.

Our room was well away from the pub so no noise.
Very clean and a lovely shower.
Breakfast was very good and service was the quickest I've ever encountered anywhere.
If you dine in the restaurant, I must recommend the scampi.
Menu was all good with a very plentiful servings.
The only down side was the mattress. It was far too soft and lumpy for us so we didn't sleep particularly well.
Renew the mattress ( room 9) and it would be perfect. :)
