It was convenient for trip to Longleat's festival of lights. It was comfortable beds were clean good bathroom facilities could have been cleaner which would have made it score higher. I liked the tea and coffee and bottled water provided. Plenty of towels.

Such a wonderful stay, in a lovely cosy pub. Very friendly staff, lovely food, comfortable & clean room. We felt very relaxed and our stay at The Foresters made our weekend. A lovely breakfast to start our day and then off to explore Bath.

On arrival there was limited parking for about 5 cars. We got a spot no problem. Warm welcome from the owner and her daughter. Made us feel welcome as we travelled from Lancashire to visit our son in bath as we only stayed the one night. Very comfy bed too. The breakfast was standard full English plus cereals if preferred. I wouldn’t say the breakfast was exquisite as described on booking .com it’s was just a normal breakfast as you would expect in a b&b. But would recommend staying here as the owners are warming and welcoming.

Close proximity to Longleat safari, City of Bath and Cheddar Gorge of which we visited all. Plenty of nice pubs in the area, friendly and helpful people. Avoid Stonehenge as nightmare traffic delays due to people slowing down to view it

The layout of Westbury takes a while to get to know and of course there is a busy road running through it.
We intend to try to get to know the area in the near future as it is an area we are looking to 'downsize' and move to a more convenient location for our children.
Plenty of areas for walking and picnicking.

Friendly hosts and locals.
Friendly hosts and locals. Stunning views and good rail links to surrounding areas.
Nice pubs and just a general nice feel of the little town. Railway Inn and The Royal Oak were particularly nice place for a few drinks and a nice meal. The Redwood Lodge is a great place to stay too. Excellent breakfast and lovely hosts.
Situated in the charming town of Westbury, The Horse and Groom pub boasts an excellent location. The accommodation, conveniently positioned just across the road from the pub, ensures a peaceful and tranquil stay for guests. The warm and hospitable welcome provided by the staff creates a pleasant atmosphere, while the extensive menu offers a delightful array of delectable dishes. The breakfast, prepared with utmost care using top-notch ingredients, is not only delicious but also beautifully presented, guaranteeing a satisfying start to the day.
We stay in hotels and lodges etc quite frequently ,and the towels were definitely the softest and fluffiest we have ever had.
The property is so comfortable and homely, with eclectic items in all rooms. The property looks much bigger when you actually see it,and with 3 toilets and 2 bathrooms it's ideal for 6 people, we would definitely return.
There is also a small community cafe/shop/park with small animals just around the corner which was an added bonus. Only 20 mins from Longleat and Bath.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Very good location in the middle of the town. Breakfast was a marvel, better breakfast than anywhere I have been, freshly cooked and served hot according to your preference.
It was a real pleasure staying at the Garden house.
The room was very cleaned and bathroom super clean, much better than many hotels that I have stayed in. The owners pay attention to every details
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, a big thank you to our hosts Sarah and Dave for their hospitality and welcome.
The room was very clean and comfortable, we slept very well and the fan was a godsend in the heatwave temperatures.
We enjoyed our room provided breakfast, it set us up for our days exploring Wiltshire for which Westbury is an excellent base.
Tillys cottage is a beautifully refurbished cottage with all modern appliances and very clean. Was close to the three daggers pub/restaurant and not far from Westbury where you have supermarkets, bars, shops. Also close to the white horse on the hill. And Stonehenge is about half hour drive.
Lovely retreat in Westbury. Everything prepared to a fantastic standard. Very comfortable, breakfast and facilities superb. Would definitely recommend. Short walk into town centre. Would make a great base to explore other parts of Wiltshire.
The land lady is so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast, good quality ingredients, and well cooked. Would stay again and recommend if you need to stay in Westbury.
