The food was amazing. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Epic little pub in a lovely area, definitely worth the small detour. A great spot to spend the night to break up the journey. This was hands down the best accommodation experience we've had in the UK so far.

Great location, only two minutes walk to town centre. Fabulous views. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Food is delicious- recommend the fish pie.

Everything about the Hotel is perfect. Staff, location, rooms, food.
Food excellent. Fresh good-quality home-baked cakes placed in room each day. The Lemon Drizzle Cake is the best I've ever tasted. Staff couldn't have been more friendly.
There wasn't really anywhere convenient in the bathroom for placing toiletries. A shelf located near the wash basin would have been nice.
