Set in the small Dorset village of Eype, Eype's Mouth Country Hotel is a family run 18 bedroom hotel with superb sea views. This 3-star hotel occupies a unique position on the Heritage Coastline.

Most friendly and nice staff you can imagine. Good service and willing to help with additional requests. I arrived late, after the kitchen was closed, but they made me a dinner. They also arranged a safe place to store the bike.

Outbuildings Dorset, hotel in Swyre

Situated in Bridport, 10 km from Golden Cap, Outbuildings Dorset features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

My wife and I had a lovely birthday celebration at the Outbuildings. The Coop room was lovely for us and our dog, and the outdoor bath was exceptionally relaxing after a day walking the beach. I also organised the Orchard experience with the hotel, which was great and the food was delicious. The hotel also catered to our food allergies which we were very grateful for. Overall a peaceful and restorative stay, we would love to return.

The Manor House, hotel in Swyre

The Manor House is set in West Bexington and 250 metres from Chesil Beach and Lym Bay. This charming property dates back to the 16th century and opens onto a lovely garden and terrace.

The Manor House is situated in a very quiet but extremely beautiful hamlet on the coast and we really enjoyed our overnight stay there. Our room was large and nicely furnished with views of the coast line. All the staff were friendly and we enjoyed our meal in the evening in the hotel. Food was good and service efficient and friendly. Breakfast was good with an extensive breakfast menu. The location is beautiful and the hotel grounds are relaxing, gardens well maintained and with stunning views all around.

Have never met more friendly and helpful people as the staff in The George,we were only there for one night which was a shame as we would quite happily have stayed a lot longer. The evening meal and breakfast was amazing, would definitely stay there again. We went in October, there are lots of places to visit, we visited Lyme Regis, West Bay, Charmouth, Seaton, and some nearby beaches where we stayed ie. West Bexington and the Hive beach. All the places are easy to reach as you have the A35 running right through it only takes from 20-40 minutes to reach each one . The coastline is stunning and ideal if you want to unwind and there are plenty of places to eat there are signs every where that serve food from 12pm to 9pm. We ate in Morrisons in Bridport, it's easy parking there too, and is cheap. We took our dogs, they can run free on most beaches in October but restrictions apply between May to September, also the sea can be rough so keep an eye on your dogs.
