Clean and attractively decorated interior. Great pub! One of our favorite accommodations during our 2 week tour of England and Scotland. Friendly staff and patrons!
Built in 1841, this Grade II listed building has retained many period features, with converted and tastefully furnished interiors creating the warm and friendly atmosphere.

We liked that the local parking we used for the van was even accessible for campers. The community was really friendly, lots of people with dogs going about their day. The local Booths was a great place to get meals. We liked the kitchen so much that we didn’t go out for food locally but both pubs in the area looked quality! The roads there are small but manageable and that’s the feeling you want from a place like that anyway. I like that ours close enough for a day out around Malham. The crag walk at the top of the village also suffices for a viewpoint.

Great little town with good amenities.
Great little town with good amenities. Lot of great walks nearby. The Talbot pub good atmosphere and food, the Old naked man cafe and shop is good but have a look down the backstreets for small local independents. A walk along the river and into nearby Giggleswick is worth a visit, find Russel Harty's grave in Giggleswick church yard and have a pint in the Black Horse next door

I have never seen so many quilted jackets and boots! lol VERY popular with walkers but very quaint and bijou. It's perfectly formed and self-contained but not many options of anything Three pubs and about thirty shops. It ain't Las Vegas! but that's its charm.

Settle is a lovely and friendly market town.
Settle is a lovely and friendly market town. There are lots of great places to eat - the sit-in fish and chip shop was wonderful and Sunday lunch at the Golden Lion was great value. There are walks, of all ability levels, from the town and the Victoria Hall offers great live entertainment. There are some nice independent shops, great local butcher, as well as a couple of good supermarkets. All in all, a great place to visit.

There are lots of shops, except charity ones, just Age Concern and Swimming Baths ones. Plenty cafes, pubs, good chippy {Fisherman} but locals are not friendly. Dislike tourists? Come from Clitheroe and locals TALK to them. Not here.
The staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel looks beautiful from the outside and is lovely inside. We had a standard room which was a good size with a very comfortable bed and linen. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice including kippers which I know isn't many people's favourite but I love them. We have stayed here before and will stay here again. Settle is lovely to walk round and there are some excellent walking opportunities nearby such as an ascent of Pen-y-ghent
The location was perfect. We especially enjoyed an evening event at the Settle Victoria Hall! We didn’t know about this prior to our arrival there. Lovely restaurants and grocery nearby. A very comfortable place to spend a few days. Another surprise was to visit Giggleswick, just a few minutes’ walk from the cottage. Also very close to the train station and the bus stop.
Very friendly staff, comfortable bedroom with T&C making facilities, great choice on menu, freshly cooked food and very well presented, outside eating/drinking area that’s a great sun trap, large bar area and 2 dining rooms, large carpark. Perfect location to explore the dales, very pretty village, 10 minute walk into Settle.
Beautiful house in a beautiful village. The house is full of character and has been renovated stylishly to a very high standard. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and was immaculately clean. A great location for exploring the area. Easy to walk to settle and close to the amazing Ribblehead viaduct.
The building itself is very attractive. The pub area is also cozy and clean. The staff were professional and polite. They placed us in a larger room since we were staying for bit. Provided extra drinking glasses upon request. The walking trail through the pasture near the property was a wonderful find.
This hotel felt like a real find, we loved it and will definitely stay again next time we are in the area. The room and facilities were clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The evening meal was superb, and breakfast was also really tasty.
The traditional English breakfast was excellent! We didn’t feel like eating until mid afternoon!
The nook where we ate and watched television was like being in our lounge room at home.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful and told us lots of interesting things about Settle.
Warm and cozy B&B. The hosts, Jackie and Chris were so lovely and helpful. Perfect breakfast! They have a lot of choices that you can choose from. My room was very clean and comfortable. Great location for walking around Settle. Private car park. Highly recommended!!!
Food was absolutely first class - both the evening meal and the Breakfast.
Although on account of the foul weather I did not take advantage of the "Packed breakfast" it was a very unusual offer and an example to other Inns / Hotels in remote country areas.
Great location and beautifully decorated cottage. The place is really well set up and had everything we needed. Settle itself is a lovely market town and the Dales are incredible
The one bedroom apartment is very modern and contemporary, very comfortable and in a good location in Settle. It is close to restaurants and the flat has very good facilities.
Clean and attractively decorated interior. Great pub! One of our favorite accommodations during our 2 week tour of England and Scotland. Friendly staff and patrons!
Dinner was top notch and breakfast was very nice. The hotel made every effort to cater to the few extra needs I had such as keeping my bike secure overnight.
