The perfect Yorkshire Dales holiday cottage. A detached Georgian house set on Langcliffe's lovely village green. Just a mile from the pubs, cafes and shops of picturesque Settle. Newly renovated Green Cottage is very well equipped with a new kitchen-diner & bathrooms, a cosy log burner in the spacious living room. The pretty enclosed garden provides wonderful views & a sheltered seating area. Children and dogs are very welcome. We offer 7 night bookings (starting Friday) and sometimes short breaks (min. 3 nights). The entire house and garden is for your private use. It is set over three floors. Lower ground: kitchen diner (Rangemaster cooker, dishwasher, microwave etc), utility room (washer/dryer) & bathroom (spa bath). Upper ground: spacious living room (log burner, digital TV), snug / third bedroom (day bed / full single bed, TV, desk) & shower room (walk-in monsoon). First floor: master bedroom (king), twin bedroom & separate WC. Enclosed garden/patio: lovely views, furniture, BBQ & bike store. We provide good quality Egyptian cotton bed linen & towels, a welcome pack with all the basics plus a few local treats. We clean the house ourselves to a very high standard.

We lived in London for over a decade, and have travelled around the world but returned to the stunning Yorkshire Dales to bring up our family - we love exploring it with our two young children. We renovated the house ourselves, and now clean and manage all the lettings ourselves with great care. We know how important a good holiday is, and try to make everything as easy and comfortable as possible for our guests. We have nearly 100 5 star reviews across the websites we let through. We live a 5 minute drive away, and are on hand should you need anything at all - but we will leave you in peace unless you contact us. Sarah grew up nearby so we can share some local knowledge and how to get off the beaten track, and lots of ideas for things to do with children. Langcliffe is a peaceful, picturesque Dales village of stone cottages set around a beautiful green, surrounded by limestone fells. On the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, there are great walks & bike rides from the doorstep, yet you are within a mile of the amenities of Settle. Take a lovely, gentle walk along the River Ribble to the cafe at Knight Stainforth, hike 'over the tops' to Malham or do a section of the Pennine Bridleway. Do the famous Settle to Carlisle railway. If you are energetic you can tackle our local 'Three Peaks'. (Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough & Whernside). Nearby Settle is filled with cosy pubs, artisan cafes, independent gift shops, bakery, butcher & delicatessen as well as a Booths supermarket & a weekly market. There are fish & chips & takeaways. Malham with its famous cove, tarn, waterfall & Goredale scar (plus great pubs!) is a few miles away. Caves & waterfalls nearby at Clapham / Ingleton. The Lakes are an hour away.
