The Nook was completely as described on the Booking.com site. The room is immaculately presented with the inclusion of milk, bread, spreads etc. These little touches make a difference, It was one of the best places we stayed in over a month of travel.

Rostrevor is tucked into the base of the Mourne Mountains and the mountain never leaves you...Behind each roof top is a lovely green mountain framing your experience and calling to you to come back. You can walk everywhere and get right up onto the mountain right away. The food is fresh and coastal and moderately priced. The Folk Music is some of the best I've found anywhere.

Ate at the Rostrevor inn on the first night & the following morning. Both meals were of very poor quality & using the worst quality ingredients & cooked by a chef with no taste buds, as it was bland. Breakfast was no better, if anything it was inedible. poor quality produce used including basic grade condiments. The Rostrevor charges the highest prices for the worst quality food. presented like it was gourmet fayer. Wetherspoons serve better food I suggest you find the nearest one & stay clear of this establishment. On any other visit I would stay in a tent in a field & get better service & tastier food.
We brought our 4 year olds for his birthday and he absolutely LOVED it. So clean and well kept. We arrived and unpacked then drove 4/5 mins in to rostrevor town & walked around kilbroney parked, paddling in the stream.
Came back and had a bbq and used the fire pit for marshmallows. The kitchen facilities were perfect, the toilets/showers spotless. It was so beautiful to feel so remote yet only be a few minutes from town.
Thank you so much.
Padhraic made our stay very welcoming. Everything was spotlessly clean and the house has everything you need. The location is very close to Rostrevor town and a short walk will bring you in. We visited the Monastery while we there and this was lovely also. I would reccomend staying here to any couple or group of friends.
Thank you Padhraic :)
The property is beautiful and had everything we needed. It was really pretty, clean and coffee/snacks were included. The host, Eddie made us feel really welcome and we had lots of privacy as our room was above the garage. The bars and restaurants are a five minute walk away from the property and we really enjoyed exploring Rostrevor.
The breakfast was very hearty and locally sourced. We sat in front of a large glass window, framed by vines tinted with autumn's beginning color, as we overlooked the bay. The quiet room was invitingly decorated with delicate wild flowers from the area. It was a glorious way to wake up and will be missed by us all.
Ideally located in beautiful Rostrevor, the "the Riviera of the North". Stunning location and stunning views from the garden and from the terrace. Lovely hosts, they are keeping the guesthouse in immaculate condition, so much attention to details.
Beautiful rooms, relaxed atmosphere. We will be visiting again.
The house had everything you need, kitchen really well supplied. Can text host if any issues during stay. We had a 1 year old with us and they let us use travel cot, high chair and child gate which was brilliant. Short walk to bars in Rostrevor and easy drive to Warrenpoint or Cranfield beach.
We had a lovely time in Rostrevor Valley Retreat. The house is very spacious and modern, beautiful decorated. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful explaining local attractions. The house is located in a very scenic area, close to the famous Kilbroney Park. We will be back for sure.
The room was spacious, clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Views were beautiful. Our hosts went the extra mile for us suggesting places to see and dine in the town, even dropping us off and collecting us. Martina cooked us the best breakfast we’ve had at a hotel or guesthouse!
Location so central .Hotel discreet access to pub and is also completely separate to restaurant .Everything spotless and in good order and very helpful and organized staff.
Breakfast very high quality and delicious served promptly by very friendly staff.
Good location, near the sea and good central location for hiking in the mountains. The staff were super, friendly and helpful. The property is in the centre of Rostrevor, with pub and restaurant. It was very clean and nice decor, with kettle etc.
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Nook. Clean, comfy and had everything we needed. 5 minute walk in to the centre of Rostrevor which was convenient and the host was a lovely friendly man and very helpful.
Will be back
Beautiful location with fantastic views of the Lough. Our hosts are as friendly and gracious as they come. I've stayed at hotels and B&Bs all over the world - Seaview Guesthouse is hard to beat!
The staff were wonderful and the dinner in the restaurant was delicious! The property is also located in a beautiful countryside setting, ideal for exploring Northern Ireland.
