We liked the whole set up. It was very family orientated and just enough to enjoy a mini break. All the food is to order, saves food being wasted and the staff are only more than happy to get you extra if need be.You get a homely feel. Friendly service.

Location as it was not near any major streets or towns. Fairly remote.

Unfortunately I found nothing nice about it, we were greeted with a man with his phone in his face, told us to hold on. The room was filthy it may have had a quick clean but the dust was awful, the mould around the bath. The bed linen was damp. It needed a good clean. 178 I paid for one night and I'm disgusted.
No breakfast vouchers given even though I had paid, however that was sorted out but wish I hadn't bothered paying extra for the breakfast. Would not recommend.

Read the main review - but I would add that you have to remember that this is on the northbound carriageway and if travelling south, you will need to go past it, get off at the next junction, and then join the carriageway north.

I liked the location - so close to the motorway exit.
I liked the location - so close to the motorway exit. They have big parking lot. So, no problem of parking. Also, restaurants, coffee shop, petrol station so close to the hotel. Enjoyed my stay there and will surely visit in future.

Exactly what I expected.
Exactly what I expected. Ideal as a place to break your journey travelling on M5, & for staying longer to visit the surrounding area if you just want somewhere clean & tidy to stay. Also cheaper than premier inn & other holiday accomodation. As we take our own breakfast, a fridge would be great to have in the room for milk etc.
Downside is, apart from walking to services, you always need your car to travel to places.
It was excellent value for money and exceeded our expectations. The staff were very helpful and the room had everything we needed. A two seater sofa was a bonus. We haven't stayed in a Days Inn hotel before and it was much better than similar budget chains. We haven't stayed in a service area before and were pleased it was so quiet. The breakfast in a box was very helpful combined with the hot drinks in the room.
This hotel is perfect if you are doing the Burnham and Highbridge parkrun as you can get there via the service road
Clean bathroom. Shower gel/hand-wash provided, very useful. Clean towels etc. Clean hotel. Very, very, very friendly staff! Extremely helpful. Shout out to Elaine, who very halepful towards me.
Anything I asked for - I got, for example extra milk pots, linen, shower gel. The staff had lots of local info and knowledge which they openly and kindly shared with us. It felt a very safe place.
More than basic facilities. The extra touches like soap and shower wash in the dispensers and tissues. Just what we wanted for overnight stay. Also the flexibility of arrival time and departure time is an hour longer than the usual B&b or hotel which gives more time to get ready before leaving. Good also that they allow families to bring their dog.
Most comfortable nights sleep, very quite considering it's on the M5. Always choose this hotel if visiting this part of the world as it's accessible to Glastonbury, Bridgwater, Weston-super-Mare, Wookey Hole, Wells, Cheddar, Bristol etc and with a very reasonable price tag, what's not to like.
The hotel is primarily a sort of a convenient pit stop for long journeys. It's perfect in this regard, check-in was easy, parking right outside, room spacious, clean services about a minute away, staff friendly, and optional breakfast.
the hotel is next to the M5, which makes it ideal for traveling to Weston super mare and or Bristol.
Room is tidy, bed is lovely and comfy and Breakfast deal with The Great Breakfast in the services next door is brilliant!!
Staff really friendly and chatty ,could not do enough for us on
Our stay reception, tried several taxi firms for us to get to our destination, would recommend this hotel .
Everything! The room was spacious and clean. Hotel was quiet during the night. Bed was comfortable and shower was hot and powerful. All for a great price.
