The staff was exceptional!! Everyone at the front desk was helpful and friendly. Kacper was so nice and gave us suggestions for restaurants both in Edinburgh and London. When we needed an extension cord, they promptly delivered one to our room as we went out for dinner.

On Princes Street, opposite the Scott Monument and National Gallery, Mercure Edinburgh City - Princes Street Hotel has an excellent location, a friendly atmosphere and views of Edinburgh Castle.

The location of the Mecure Edinburgh City-Princes Street Hotel was perfect . We were close to everywhere we wanted to go by walking and the train station made it convenient for us to travel out of town on different adventures.
Kimberly at the front reception desk was wonderful. She really tried to make our stay a memorable one. The entire staff was kind and more than just nice. The service was very good. The dining staff was attentive and we looked forward to the breakfast each day. We intend to stay at the Mecure Hotel on Princes Street again.

Location was the best. Near Royal Mile which has many good restaurants and stores. Near train station and bus station for connections. Room was grand. Staff was exceptional.

I really liked the location and proximity to the Royal Mile and a bunch of places to eat. It was fairly easy to location with the taxi and to get a car to head back to the airport at the very end of the trip.
