Fabulous outside deck area to sit and relax with beautiful views of the Loch and hills.
Lovely view of Loch from room too and could open the window for fresh air which was great.
Enjoyed a nice dinner at the restaurant with gluten and dairy free options available.

Truly a gift to ourselves to stay at Glencoe House. Richard and the staff were exceptional. Hats off to the chef who popped in to make sure our meal exceeded our expectations. We utilized the pristine hot tub, affordably priced bar, exquisite accommodations. Put yourself first and enjoy the long history and commitment to service at Glencoe House🏴
Located in Fort William, 1.4 miles from Loch Linnhe, Roam West provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant.

End of our trip so only stayed one night - however this place is pretty and relaxing and I would say is ideal for exploring the likes of Fort William, Ben Nevis, Glencoe, Glenfinnan Viaduct etc so you could easily spend a few nights here before heading on to the Isle of Skye or further North.

Onich is really well positioned to visit some great places.
Onich is really well positioned to visit some great places. Ben Nevis is
at Fort William, with the delicious whiskey distillery at its foot. Definitely visit Loch Shiel (famous filming location) and the viaduct at Glenfinnan (as seen in Harry Potter). You'll be totally spoilt with the stunning scenery on the way to and from Eilean Donan castle on Loch Duich - it's a bit of a drive but so, so worth it.

The view of the loch was good.
The view of the loch was good. It was a stormy day and night, but that was an interesting view too.
It was a small simple room, which is all we need. I could do without the TV. The picture on the website made it super easy to spot as we approached. This was a great location for a stopover between things we did.

The Onich hotel is in a spectacular setting. We have stayed here before, we loved our stay then and we loved it this time too. The room and facilities were all one might expect and the food was top rate. We'll definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Loved the location.
Loved the location. Our room had a balcony and a fantastic view over Loch Linnhe. They have an excellent chef and evening meals were delicious & reasonably priced. They also had a well stocked bar. The owner, manager and staff were all very polite and helpful and it was so good we opted to stay another night.
Not everyone enjoys a buffet breakfast but it was good quality and suited us except for the food not being hot enough. However this was quickly rectified & hopefully won’t be a problem in the future.
This property is located above Loch Linnhe and the views of the Loch are incredible from the big picture windows. The hosts were extremely responsive and friendly. The cottage was spotless and incredibly cute. Our cottage was a little small for three adults (I was traveling with my 2 adult children) but it was cozy and perfect for our purposes. There is a hotel within walking distance where we got dinner and Glencoe is only a short drive for excellent breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.
An enjoyable stay, comfortable and clean but room a bit basic, no wardrobe just a hanging rail. The whole place was a bit 1950s in decor and furnishing, but that’s ok. It’s been a long time since I stayed in a hotel with net curtains. The food was good and staff very friendly. You need to be aware however that if arriving from Fort William the stay will add £20 as that is the return cost of the ferry.
We stayed at this hotel about 15 years ago and loved it, principally because of the location which is spectacular. The hotel has changed hands since then and the current owners are doing a great job maintaining and improving upon our memories. Accommodation and bathroom were up to spec, the evening meal and breakfast were top rate and the staff were a delight to deal with. We will stay here again.
The staff was soo nice, especially the owner. The second he heard I had trouble on the bus ride to the hotel he drove me to my destination 30 minutes away the next day. Wouldn't consider taking gas money. The room was spacious, the bath tub was as big as a hot tub, I had a lovely view of the loch, the food was good. These are great people and you shouldn't hesitate to book.
The room/bathroom had all the modern amenities. The B&B had a lovely lake view. A few miles from restaurants, they offered a full breakfast as well as a limited evening menu. Bar was open and staff was very knowledgeable about their whiskies. They got us reservations at a "hard to get into" seafood restaurant (quite a few people turned away). Overall, it was great.
Fantastic hosts, who provided us with a comfortable home setting away from home. Comfortable bed, shower great and good breakfast to start the day. Mairi also guided us to get medical care after I got knee injury and to amazing local cafes, restaurants and sites. Our preferred one was Lochleven Seafood Cafe! Superb!
The owner, Luke, was fantastic. We had such a good time talking with him and he made sure our stay was very enjoyable. The location is very much off the beaten path. They have a bar and restaurant at the inn and the food was excellent, but that is your only choice unless you want to go to Fort William.
The room was spacious and beautifully decorated and there was food and drink in the 'fridge which I didn't expect. We took a ride on the ferry (free for foot passengers) to the other side of the loch although there wasn't really anything over there. We enjoyed it though and we saw a seal!
Beautiful location, for exploring the mountains, with a small private beach. We just need to revisit in the summer to take full advantage of the beach. The Onich Hotel was only 2 minutes walk away, gorgeous food and very friendly staff who accommodated our party of 6 with 2 dogs no problem
Gary served one of the best breakfasts we had the entire trip. The surrounding scenery is gorgeous. I forget the name of the place but he steered us to a restaurant on the other side of the lake where we had an incredible seafood meal.
The location is great, it was a stopover for one night on the way to Skye. It appeared to be good value for money. Very comfy bed and hot shower. Went to Kinlochleven for dinner in the seafood restaurant which was excellent
Room was lovely. Fantastic size and facilities. Breakfast provided in the fridge (milk, muffin and orange juice). The restaurant is closed however there is a brilliant pub (Roam West) which does amazing food and drinks.
Breakfast was delicious.
evening food offer was over priced but we only tried it once then went out
It is a lovely hotel but there are alot of rules to follow, perhaps as there are issues with staff
The hotel was good as was the food, the one flat was when we arrived the ferry to take us across the lock had broken down the week before and they
y could only takepeople and bages but it ended good
Perfect location for visiting Glencoe - close to the village of Ballachulish, close to Fort William. Loved the horses grazing outside our window. Comfortable and cozy, responsive host.
Food, wine, view in the restaurant. Nice new bathroom, lovely shower, nice soap products. Iron and board in the wardrobe. Tea/coffee and shortbread in the room.
